rosewood sent in a story about the X-Box Crashing in Public. Of course, it obviously is beta hardware so such things are to be expected, but that doesn't mean that you can't point your fingers and generate a nelson style HAHA at a multi billion dollar corporation's expense. They'll get the last laugh in 24 months when no software vendor dares release a game for any other system.

rosewood sent us linkage to an article that explains memory and more. A fairly detailed story talking about RAM in general, as well as explaining Rambus, DDR (including 1.5 and 2). Well written and worth the read. And it even features lots of diagrams (although some of the tables seem to have been designed by someone who is color blind, using white text on very bright backgrounds. Why do people do that?) Anyway, highly recommended.

" I'm more than a little skeptical, but hell, South Park scaled pretty well to the big screen. Maybe if they could get some of the writers in from the earlier seasons (You listening Conan?) on board, they could do something awesome.

rosewoodwrote to us saying that those faint signals from the Mars Polar Lander have turned out to be much ado about nothing. NASA has said that based on the fact that other sites have been unable to hear those faint sounds, the sounds were probably terrestrial in origin.
