I'd actually prefer a really nice web driven office suite that runs locally however.

The website you're referring to is just an example (and clearly an early beta stage one at that) of the relevant services being offered in a public access application service delivery model ("public cloud" or "SaaS" or even "PaaS" in today's silly terminology). You might want to inquire with Google about "LibreOffice online", or perhaps investigate something like this. HTH. -PCP

It comes, as the "easy' solution, of a VM based on openSUSE and they have an image there to download if you want to try it. There... Now we actually have a handy-dandy link to the actual site and application. It's a start. Normally I'm okay but I'm old, tired, and cranky. I'm also KGIII and still not logging in, damn it. In fact, I'm gonna take a nap.
