Re:Wish I could say this was news
You know it. So many idiots out there think they are the beneficiaries of the student loans. The schools price that in to the cost before the students even get to pick

In related news
Around 40% of the corn produced in the US goes to ethanol.
It's obviously not a question of whether we can support 7 billion people, since we basically are, but whether we can support the increasing growth rate. If you look at this graph, you can see the population is projected to level off around 10billion or so. And if you look even closer, you can see it's really a question for India (and to a lesser degree, Africa): can India handle its massive population growth? If so, then the world can handle it, too. If not, then they are going to suffer a lot. -
Re:why NSA hate?
When they are part of the local police force via fusion centres, its way more that just "Sniffing".

Have a read of the "MIAC" report and understand who the NSA where to help target within the USA.

Government Lawsuits
I wonder if this has anything to do with my state government, along with two other states, threatening to sue Craiglist if they didn't start screening that section of the site. For the life of me, I can't understand why that is a better solution than prostitutes advertising their services in public. Wouldn't it be really easy to set up a sting for people who are basically advertising their willingness to provide paid sex services? I mean, they're right there practically donning bull's-eyes!

Here's one, for starters: Columbia Tribune
I've seen two of the three documents alleged in the parent post, but they are at home and I am not. -
Re:Barr
Well then they should freaking vote for a third party candidate! Voting 3rd party can sometimes result in your second-choice candidate losing the election, but it still serves a useful function: by punishing losing party and saying "Hey! Be more like this other guy".
As an example, perhaps the best way to force a major party to pick up some libertarian ideas is to force their candidates to lose: http://blogs.columbiatribune.com/politics/2006/12/cato_libertarians_may_have_cos.html
If you never vote your ideals, how can you expect parties to compete for your vote?

See, the Republicans are right. . .when they complain about voter fraud being rampant. I guess they didn't count on it being found out they were complicit in the fraud.
Personally, anyone found to be a participant in voter fraud should be barred for life from voting. -
