Re:So you can no-longer control guns, how about am
Making ammunition is trivial:
- bullets can be cast from lead http://www.amazon.com/Cast-Bullets-E-H-Harrison/dp/B0007ASOHO
- primer can be strike anywhere matches carefully ground up, or fashioned from chemicals http://cryptome.info/0001/tm-31-210.htm
- gunpowder is simple chemistry http://www.amazon.com/Do-Yourself-Gunpowder-Cookbook/dp/0873646754
- cases can be turned on a lathe (granted they're not as malleable as those which are formed, but they'll last for a couple of firings) http://www.janellestudio.com/metal/turning_brass.txtand of course, doing a muzzle loader eliminates the need for that, just need a patch

Re:And what about outside the US?
Rather than _The Anarchist Cookbook_ (which if the author had control of his copyright would be unavailable for safety concerns), get something which has complete, tested instructions which won't get you killed or maimed:
TM 32-210 Improvised Munition Handbook --- available at http://cryptome.info/0001/tm-31-210.htm or from your local bookstore

Forget Hushmail
Hushmail is notorious in certain circles for sharing people's PGP keys with investigators who come knocking. This was in relation to DEA and Customs investigations in Operation Web Tryp to crack down on people using the internet to get ahold of research chemical indoleethylamines and phenethylamines (read: designer psychedelics). A lot of these people were using Hushmail, and when the investigators went to Hushmail, the provider burned their users. If they'll rat you out to the DEA and Customs, bet your sweet ass they'll rat you out to the NSA. Fuck, read this article at Cryptome.
If you need any expectation at all of ACTUAL privacy (the kind that'll keep you out of prison), don't use Hushmail. Someone people actually trust, like maybe the people behind Wikileaks, should start a real anonymous mail network. -

Re:Another good reason.
Pick up a copy of "Improvised Munitions Handbook" for all of your propellant, explosive, incendiary, and destructive device needs!
It is US Army TM 31-210, circa 1969.(don't know if it still issued/used- I was issued my copy in 1977)
You can find a copy online at cryptome in both html(4.2 MB) and pdf(4.4 MB) zipped files. From the book:
This work is in the public domain. The original work was created by U.S. Federal Government employees in their official capacity. Therefore by United States Code, title 17, section 105, it is not subject to copyright.BIG DISCLAIMER!!!!
:Most of the 'recipes' in this manual are Extremely Dangerous to actually make and use. I heartily do not recommend trying these.

Re:Age of Speed on Wall St.
I suggest you read Paul Virilio. He has some rather interesting ideas regarding speed and its effect on society. He's particularly interested in the way speed limits or determines our perception of phenomena. He believes that societies have essentially viewed development in terms of ever increasing acceleration of both communication and transportation; progress is defined according the the acceleration brought about by some technological change. However, in the current age, we're reaching some sort of critical mass where an increase in speed is no longer possible, mainly because speed has a limit, brought about by the discover of the speed of light. (I would suggest that's really what "The Age of Speed" means.)
There's a lot more to add to really explain what he's talking about. For example, he also has another term, called "speed space", which is not just the usual space of three dimensions, but one which is defined by all relative movements, and the acceleration and deceleration of those movements. I'm just beginning to grasp his ideas myself, so I can't give an accurate analysis. I'm currently reading this, which is probably a good place to begin.
Since you mention Wall Street, have a look at what he had to say about the current economic crisis.
