Could work
But you would need to totally rebrand them to be cool, much like Steve Jobs has totally revived the Apple brand in the last decade. After that, you'll need to sell them cheap, possibly via sites like http://www.dubli.com/ to encourage people who aren't so rich that this is a great transportation method. Bingo - e-bikes are in!

The beat goes on...
Given that economies have cycles, this is hardly groundbreaking, earth shattering news. Especially when you have companies like http://www.dubli.com/ who have found a business model to sell tech products at superlow price - obviously leading to increased consumerism, and a happier economy. Why more people haven't noticed this site, I don't know. Even so, outside of that, it's good to hear that things are looking up again - I miss the boom days...

Best Buy? I don't think so
Why anyone still shops in that dreadful shop is beyond me. Personally, I always go to http://www.dubli.com./ I guess they don't "do" computers, but when they're selling new ones so cheaply I think it's just better to get the latest and greatest anyway.

eBay!
Soon eBay's going to be old hat, a tarnished brand. Why? Because of http://www.dubli.com/ More and more people are hearing about this year on year, and few people are going back to eBay once they've had the DubLi experience. Think about it: eBay used to be all about the auctions, now it's more about buy this now and the general marketplace. Anyway, go give DubLi a shot - you won't regret it!

Hmm
Can't say I think that's such a great idea. Considering that more and more people are buying stuff on the internet anyway, it seems reasonable to assume that fruit and veg don't really need to be labeled as such, since you can view the price on the internet. And anyone remember those smart fridges which could access the internet and auto restock your fridge contents? They sounded awesome! Anyways, just look at sites like http://www.dubli.com/ and you'll see what I mean. The internet's a growing place, and there's hundreds of ways to monetize it. This is just one of many areas where it's diversifying and changing our lives, for better or worse.

What Fireball84513 said
There's all kinds of ways to create power and energy, after all. In the meantime, I just like to keep up with the latest in gadgets - the only way I've been able to afford this is by going to http://www.dubli.com./ It's a helluva experience and beats Best Buy by a country mile!

moderntainment: the future?
I don't think the future of entertainment will be so different than it is today, or even 500 years ago. The medium may change, but that's really about it. Humans like to be entertained, period. Here's an interesting new development in 'moderntainment'; http://us.dubli.com/The-New-York-Spygame__3_2913?gmt=-60 which I think could really indicate how people are starting to think about their space and entertainment, and how to make the most of something that even a few years ago was pretty much the preserve of novels and OTT Hollywood shows. Food for thought, I think.

Cheap online store
Why not go to http://www.dubli.com/ and buy the parts there? The shopping mall is full of cheap bargains. Buy something, rip the motor out, buy something else, use the frame... the list goes on. Or even better, just buy something new and fiddle about with it and then claim it as your own. With DubLi, it's all possible. Why? Cos it's cheap

Why spend $2m when you can spend .80?
Lol, 2 million bucks for a car? That's just dumb when you can get a brand new Harley Davidson for 80 cents. Plus the Harley's way cooler. Don't believe me? Check it out. Only 11 days to go... http://us.dubli.com/Harley-Davidson-2009-FLHX-Street-Glide__3_1337

Why rely on Sony and others to make price cuts?
The internet is providing plenty of discount outlets and venues where you can buy gadgets and geegaws for well under the recommended retail price. Why pester the big companies to put the $$$ down? Look at websites like http://www.dubli.com/ - they're selling brand new products at fractions of the prices, simply by putting a simple spin on the auction model. Those who are serious about sourcing cheap, up-to-date gadgets can find them easily and buy them. Meanwhile, Sony can shift their units to those who just don't care - there's always somebody who wants it all NOW and doesn't care about the price of the damn thing. And that, my friends, is the beauty of capitalism. Activision? They should stop blaming Sony's reasonable model and focus instead on producing quality games that work cross-platform.

I shop on Dubli
I use Dubli. They are kind of like eBay + that they have regular shops there at well (and I like the way they make sure you don't get f***** by the seller and vice-verca):
