Re:I say!
I know! I could create a Porn 2.0 website called fuckhr! Or fuckr. You post your own home-made amateur porn movies, and you tag them with tags like "hardcore", "bj", "cumshot", and "anal"! Then anyone could just search for specific tags and find some good (hopefully) amateur porn to fit their specific fetishes.
you need an Insightful mod. HTH -
Re:SVG Basics?
Seems pretty good. I've even found one example where Opera 9 beats FF.

Re:Using Flash = Validation Fail
it's the only way to render arbitrary text in an arbitrary size on the user's machine in a specific font they don't have, which, as a graphic desinger, I want to do a LOT of the time
Are you sure about that?
I've been playing around alot with SVG, doing things that could only be done in flash or java before now. Maybe you should try it. -

Re:"Behavioural" questions at an interview
Shame that. Why the hell can't I ever find a place like this then?
Doesn't matter though, I'm a skill-less loser, you wouldn't hire me anyway.
I did, however, just get scaling to work on my javascript/SVG 3d rendering page... (Firefox/moz/opera9 only). Sorry, had to brag, it's been frustrating me for days. -
Re:Yeah but, what about the porn?
Don't worry, I'm on it.
Facial expression applet (safe for work) [works in FF1.5 and Opera 9]
Just a little thing I'm working on, so that we can tag facial expressions too. Look for the girl that's smiling, or the one that's winking/frowning/pouting, whatever.
Also working on other SVG applets that are even more impressive. Posable 3d mannequins that let you enter in the exact position of the girl in question, so that's searchable too.
Anyone want a beta account? -
SVG support
I hope more browsers end up using SVG. There are some very nifty uses that can be made of it - an example of which is the porn database - http://pdatabase.dyndns.biz (how's it going, John?
:) ) -
Re:Good news
Both Firefox 1.5 and Opera 9 render my inverse kinematics SVG demo flawlessly.
This will eventually be an integral part of the webapp I'm coding, and even after I fixed mimetype issues so that IE didn't barf on xhtml, it's still a joke. I'd spend an incredible amount of time just fixing the CSS, let alone all my javascript. And the SVG applets which are absolutely necessary... not even a chance. I might as well try to fix it so it would work in lynx too, except lynx probably sucks less. -
friendlymatch.com scam
Since I just got this email yesterday, and it intrigued me, I'll post about it. I got an email yesterday (to my hotmail account that I never use) from someone saying they saw an ad on match.com and they were new to my town. They knew my town, and they were able to connect it to an address that I haven't used in years. freaky. The email says to call this obviously beautiful girl at a provided phone number, but the number has 8 digits. ain't gonna work. so you respond to the email and you get an autoresponse saying to sign up to friendlymatch.com to email her. At this point its pretty obvious its a scam, but I'm sure people still sign up and pay.
Check here for someone else's info on this scam. Finally a scammer who is as smart as the people he's trying to scam. I'd like to see this guy caught some day.
