Good selection of utterly pointless domains
Portal of Evil has a great selection of totally arbitrary and utterly silly domain names at which you can get email addresses
Favourites include
Chlamydia-is-not-a-flower.com
IAmOffended.com
IFuckedSteveJobs.com
and
Bottomless-Abyss-Of-Suckitude.com
I, myself, chose an address at YouEatPoopy.com.

Use evilemail.com
Evil Email, which is closed until the 17th, has the domain IFuxxedBillGates.com. I've tried to get spam from all over the place, and for some reason, the only people who will are Microsoft. I've tried to opt-in. Even Borders won't accept it. Maybe Nadine should use this...

And in *real* business news...Microsoft "XBox" to Target Older Gamers
by THE_MESSENGER, Troll Staff WriterREDMOND - Microsoft's groundbreaking new gaming console, the Microsoft XBox, has just been released to the general public. Gamers are raving about the system's fast graphics chip, manufactured by nVidia Corporation, and ergonomically designed controlling apparatus. However, as all gamers know, what makes or breaks a console is the available selection of software titles, not flashy hardware.
Blood Money
Sony's PlayStation 2, a competing platform, has successful increased its marketshare by actively promoting software intended for "older" audiences, rather than the toddler-to-teenage audience sought by Nintendo, a popular manufacturer of children's electronic toys, whose new "GameCube" console us being tauted as "The XBox of the Elementary School." Such software is rated as being "For Mature Audiences" by the Entertainment Software Rating Board, and often features graphic violence and adult language. While much of this software -- such as Grand Theft Auto 3 ("GTA3"), a game which glorifies petty criminal behavior -- may seem crude, today's twenty- and thirty-year-olds are attracted to the gritty, realistic portrayal of the world that these games showcase. Because poverty-stricken, talentless Cheap Software advocates make up such a small part of this "older gamer" demographic, Sony's bet has paid off, and young people everywhere are spending their disposable incomes on games that simulate violence, instead of investing funds in traditional, low-yield investment strategies as the stock market and prostitution.A Tradition of Excellence
Microsoft Corporation is known across the country and around the world for its innovative products and American-style business strategy. (Microsoft was most recently in the news when the "Code Red" Internet application demonstrated the fitness of the Windows operating system for distributed computing tasks.) One of the Redmond, Washington-based software behemoth's core principles is "embrace and extend"--a strategy in which Microsoft engineers analyze the successes of other computing pioneers and adopt them to Microsoft's patriotic, anti-terrorist business strategy. When the company first started designing the XBox, it knew that Sony's "older" audience would play a key role in the success of its product."The 'older' audience has monetary resources not available to Nintendo's average five-year-old customer," reports Dick Johnson, Microsoft's Chief Business Architect. "While Nintendo customers are often able to acquire hardware and software by nagging their parents, the sales are not guaranteed. Sony's audience, on the other hand, has the key combination of paying jobs and irrepsonsible spending habits. Observe how these scruffy young professionals paid in excess of $20,000 for PlayStation 2 consoles during the rush last winter."
Life Begins at $400.00
But Microsoft isn't satisfied. Sure, it could sell millions of consoles to the same folks who bought PlayStation 2 consoles, but Johnson says that this just wouldn't be Microsoft's way. "We pride ourself on adapting -- changing -- others' successful strategies before implementing them at Microsoft. Otherwise, we'd be like, you know, a bunch of lamer copy-offs."But how can Microsoft embrace and extend Sony's "older" audience market? "Simple," says Johnson. "We'll sell games to old people!"
The lineup of new "really mature" games includes titles of interest for every old person, from baby-boomers to geriatrics: Xtreme Finance (and the Xtreme Federal Income Tax mission pack) makes paying bills fun with three-dimensional charts and a "rockin'" Eagles soundtrack, while Xtreme Crossword Puzzles builds seniors' self-esteem by repeating the phrase "You're not going to die, really!" in a calm voice over soothing music from new-age sensation Yanni. Even the names of the games are well thought-out. "As you can see, we're really sold on what we call the Xtreme Paradigm," Johnson explains. "This innovative misspelling of 'extreme' is sure to be mistaken by boomers as 'cool' and 'hip.' Also, it begins with 'x.' And it's the 'X'-box, get it? Ha ha!" As you can see, Microsoft has left no detail unexplored in its everlasting quest to provide quality products while fighting subversives and terrorists.

Unfortunately, there is the fact ...that *BSD isdying. No, this isn't the sam copy-paste deal, but it's true. FreeBSD suffers from laughable performance, poor scalability, and an almost total lack of commercial software support. No to mention its uncertain future -- Walnut Creek, its primary distributor, was purchased by BSDi, and BSDi was recently purchsed by Wind River. Now, when you go to the FreeBSD Mall, you find out that "some products and services have temporarily become unavailable." Temporarily, my ass: FreeBSD is dead. This fact is further evidenced by the fact that the Mall website can't be accessed without the "www." prefix -- the site is being run by amateurs.
(The one thing that the FreeBSD team isn't amateurish about is gay sex. It's well known that several prominent former CSRG workers take it up the ass as often as possible, and their " users group meetings" are held in highway washrooms. The fact the FlamingBSD is based in San Francisco is further proof that FreeBSD is the OS of choice for queer nancies. Finally, while I despise Christians, I will note that the BSD mascot is reminiscent of an evil deity who Christians believe homosexuals will meet in the afterlife.)
OpenBSD isn't much better. I find it highly amusing that a uniprocessor server OS can exist in the year 2001, but I guess that OpenBSD's five users have their reasons. Theo "The Rat" de Raadt is a well known bitch/asshole, which is why he was kicked off the NetBSD core team. (NetBSD has always taken a firm stance of bitches/assholes, and The Rat's bitchiness/assholery was not not tolerated once it was discovered.) Also, The Rat's anti-US sentiments leads many to believe that he was behind the recent World Grave Center "incident."
Last, and definitely least, is NetBSD. While their hardline anti-Rat policy is to be commended, NetBSD is a joke. It's great that they've managed to port their outdated UNIX-wannabe to everything on the planet with a circuit board, as well as some citrus fruit, but such portability has no practical application when viewed in light of performance, scalabilty, stability, and software support that are even outdone by FreetofuckmenBSD.
In short, *BSD is dying. I hope that these "Antiamerican Megafags" learn the truth and are anally sodomized in the butt by their competitors. Inded, they must be in a poor position already, to have considered using Cheap Software in the enterprise.
Thank you.

Re:Liability & Negligence
WARNING: I'm in a punchy mood tonight, and the following rant is long and boring. It's so rare that I see someone admitting to loving Windows on this site, so I'm going to just let the rants fly. Continue at own risk.
Before I say anything, let me say that I agree with your posts completely. I'm neither an MS bigot nor a UNIX/Linux bigot... although I'm leaning towards the former, because the Linux monkeys are starting (as a whole) to become more annoying than the MS ones.
:-) I've only been into UNIX for a few years and absolutely adore it, but have been moving back towards MS because Win2k impresses the hell out of me. (My proof? I pad full price for both Win2k Pro and Server out of my own pocket, and am proud to say that.) (Windows XP, OTOH, I'm not too excited about. Mainly because of WPA -- I build my own boxes, and having to call MS to reactive the license that I already paid for every time that I rebuild my box is insane. But I digress...)I've learned a valuable lesson: despite that the Linux zealots say otherwise, you shouldn't be ashamed for loving the GUI and ease-of-use of Windows. UNIX is a great development environment, but I grew up using Microsoft products, since MS-DOS, and I'm not going to pretend that GNOME and Linux offer greater productivity just because some rabid script kiddie thinks otherwise. For me, Windows is a better development environment than Linux, and it's also a better general-use OS too -- I can surf the WWW with the best browser available, I can play any game I want, and install any PC hardware/software and be guaranteed of compatability. And anyone who tells you that Windows is unstable hasn't used NT -- probably can't afford it, writing free software and all.
;-) And hey, guess what -- I have a UNIX command line on my NT box. The best of both worlds.Okay, now to respond to your post. First off, you are spot-on about IIS on clean NT installs. It isn't even an option on NT4 Workstation, and on Win2k, while it is possible to install it as a networking option, it isn't mentioned during the install. (Consequently, many people aren't aware that it's possible. A friend of mine who works in our operatins dept, who is extremely knowledgable and has been running Win2k since the beta, had no idea until a few months ago.)
There is one scenario that is troublesome, though... I've been told that if you upgrade a Win98 box running PWS, IIS is installed auto-magically. Upgraders may not sound like huge market segment, but read on...
My ex-girlfriend is at a major university, a school that is such an MS lapdog that it isn't even funny. To make a long story short[er], Win2k Pro is available to any student to wants it. And when Win2k was first released, many of these morons thought, "Hey, 2000 is bigger than 98, it must be better!" and upgraded their 98 boxes without knowing that Win2k is a real NOS... consequently, this uni now has thousands of Win2k boxes being "administrated" by these clueless people, even more clueless than the average IIS admins (see rant below). And since many of these people I mention are CS or IT majors (frightening, eh? the industry will implode in a few years), they had PWS running.
That, sir, is a nightmare.
:-)If you're still reading, here's my IIS admin rant. I've been trying to move my websites from Solaris to Win2k for over a year. I've tried four webhosts in that time, and have found all to be extremely lacking. My theory is that, because NT is [superficially] easier to admin than UNIX, a greated percentage of NT admins are clueless fucktards who shouldn't be allowed within 25 miles of a networked computer.
:-) I could tell you all sorts of wonderful stories about these folks, but I'll simply mention one: FrontServe. Check out this page on FrontServe's website. If he's advertising Windows webhosting, why the fuck are there pictures of Sun boxes behind the Frontpage logo? :-D LOL... that should give you an idea of the kind of professional service I got.One more rant, and then you're off the hook. (Sorry, as I said, it's so rare that I get a sympathetic ear re: MS...) I mentioned a lot of these people at uni thinking,
if (2000 > 98)
This is yet another reason that I hate the name, "Windows 2000." They were calling it NT5 almost up until the release, and I don't understand why they changed. And then ME came out! What sense does that make, going from NT to 2000 and 98 to ME? It's two letters to a year and a year to two letters. I imagine it's confusing as hell to the average consumer. And then the Win2k propaganda says, "Built on NT Technology." WTF? Built on New Technology Technology? Anyway, I still call it NT5 as an act of rebellion, but it just confuses people, so maybe I should stop.
// must be better!
install(os); :-)Wow, what a rant. If you wish to reply, email the_messenger@evilemail.com, so you don't kill your karma the way I have with offtopic, pro-MS posts.

Sheeps & Goats
Anyone dumb enough to use a hotmail accout probably needs to be abused like this.
Of coarse the IP that M$ sreals from this bunch will be pretty lame IP so I say hotmail account users and M$ deserve each other.
Anyone with a grain of sense head on over to www.evilemail.com and grab one of their free mail accounts.

It's for the best that you take definite steps to preserve your anonymity if you are going to criticise a large company.
Post anonymously and do it through an anonymizing proxy. Anonymizer.com and evilemail.com are your friends.
Blacklists still happen. There are a lot of steps that an employer can take to make it difficult for you to work again.
A lot of these measures are illegal, but it's up to you to verify that any shady dealings are occuring. That's not easy.
Trust me on this - as a member of the homosexual community, I'm far more familiar with workplace discrimination than I would like to be.
This is why we need government regulation to protect privacy and the right to unionize.
