Re:Rich protecting themselves
What you are describing is "protected classes" which makes some of your fellow citizens more worthy of protection than you are. Ever hear of someone being charged with a hate crime for hitting a white person? I know I haven't but you can't tell me that crime has never happened. What about for hitting a Christian? Or someone who is heterosexual?
For a nice example of "protected class" please enjoy this video. Now does anyone here think that if you would have replaced the two in the video with skinheads they wouldn't have been convicted of a hate crime? All this hate crime bullshit is nothing but racism, pure and simple. You hit or kill someone, you go to jail. It shouldn't matter what color or sex they are. If a prosecutor thought that played into the crime he was perfectly free before to present that evidence to the jury who could then pass down a harsher sentence. By creating "protected classes" you simply breed lovely logic like this quote: "Black people can't be racists because their ancestors suffered".
So while you may see hate crime as some sort of "equalizer" others see it for what it is: payback.

You will note that Rumsfeld has admitted the banner was made by White House staff, and reflected wording from Bush's speech. Bush's production manager flew out to the ship five days earlier, checking every detail for his boss's triumphant deck-swagger in a flight suit. Being the commander in chief, if Bush told the Navy "Take the rap for me on this," they had no choice but to say, "Yeah, we asked for the banner."
And you openly display your pride in the man. Unbelievable.

Re:I don't care what anyone says
So THAT'S why moderate muslims don't denounce the crazies. I get it now thanks.
Are you serious?
Thousands of muslims leaders and millions of regular muslims have denounced the terrorists.
Hell, even the leader of the axis of evil, Ayatollah Khamenei, publicly condemned the 9-11 attacks.

ACLU is a fricking Holocaust
If defending liberty is "liberal", why do conservatives hate liberty so much?
The ACLU doesn't defend liberty. It harasses small towns into forking over hundreds of thousands of dollars to make them go away. Let's really check a list of lawsuits:
http://www.floppingaces.net/2005/10/13/aclu-wackiness/
Please, tell me how freedom is maximized when you have an organization tearing down religious symbols. They don't.
Finally, the ACLU itself believes that WE DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS.
The ACLU therefore believes that the Second Amendment does not confer an unlimited right upon individuals to own guns or other weapons nor does it prohibit reasonable regulation of gun ownership, such as licensing and registration.
The ACLU agrees with the Supreme Court's long-standing interpretation of the Second Amendment [as set forth in the 1939 case, U.S. v. Miller] that the individual's right to bear arms applies only to the preservation or efficiency of a well-regulated militia. Except for lawful police and military purposes, the possession of weapons by individuals is not constitutionally protected
So there, a classic liberal organization - oppressing the majority, and depriving everyone of their right to keep and bear arms.
And, don't even get me started on vouchers, bussing, and other matters. The ACLU has consistenly violated the rights of the majority and their elected officials. -
Re:What do Republican's stand for?
Actually I don't believe so. I believe most of all that "the mainstream media" is taking more and more advantage of us.
War Crimes reported in the news in Iraq for the last 8 months were sourced by a non-existant "Captain" Jamil Hoessein :
http://www.floppingaces.net/jamil-hussein-story/
You can see the effect of their lies every day on slashdot unfortunately. The reality of the matter is, of course, very simple :
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/ne ws/2006/09/10/wirq10.xml
However bad the americans are, the iraqi's themselves are infinitely worse. Nobody is reporting that of course.
