Re:Multizilla and Googlbox make Mozilla my choice
Too right! You can get some of the Multizilla functionality in Firefox by cobbling together extensions, but it still doesn't do everything and it's less convenient.
That said, I really, really wish Mozilla supported something like Sage for RSS browsing. That would make it perfect.

Been there, done that...
For a specifically Solaris solution, look at Orcallator, but read my experiences with that and SARGE first.
I'd second the various Nagios recommendations. The object templating configuration is very powerful once you get your head round it.

Trust the BBC...now??
Hmmm, considering how well the BBC have looked after the show in the past, I'd give this news only two cheers. Still, what next - the Goodies?

God I [used to] fantasize about you a lot.
Did you know that scores of gay people I know want to jump your bones?
DrPizza, who's too lazy and too drunk to register for this accursed thing. -
webserver on mars?
Well now that they have webserver on a chip (http://kyllikki.fluff.org/hardware/wwwpic2/), how about allowing student groups to send up a few of these on the next mission to mars? How about slashdot.mars (ok, more than a few chips).

Tons of projectsI'm a high school student, and I can think of plenty of projects I'd enjoy doing at school, many of which have been mentioned on Slashdot. I don't know if these would be appropriate for your class, but they're interesting computer-related projects:
WWWPic2 mentioned here a few weeks ago. This would also include building the Picprog Pic programmer.
Or what about building the Flash Carts for Gameboy, mentioned here.
Do the students at your school use TI-8x calculators? If so, there's lots of oppurtunities at Ticalc.org.
I hope you find some of these ideas useful.
