Re:Interestingly enough, my keyboard
Gateway Anykey 's also had diagonal arrow keys. Your keyboard sounds suspicously like them. The new keyboards from Focus Electronic kick ass, especially the 8200 and 9200, with a built in calculator, and 12 macro keys (that work in linux, or other less popular OS's). My anykey gave out after many years, and this is the only keyboard I've found with macro keys
:-)
I love this thing. -
Focus Electronic
I use a keyboard from Focus Electronic called the FK-8200
I sincerly regret not waiting for the FK-9200 to become available, since it has a trackball in the center of the keyboard.
This keyboard is great.. it has a built in calculator, a clock with batteries for when the machine is off, and 12 macro keys that can be mapped to just about anything..

RSI nearly killed me, so I discovered THIS
After my trackmate ( or whatever it was called ) died, my second keybroniq (whatever) keyboard, and I used a keyboard/mickey-rat combo for a couple of months, it nearly crippled me, so I discovered these things, and bought 2, because being made crippled, just because my keyboard died,
.. IS NOT ON.PS/2, but I hope they make a USB version, soon...
Trackball AND macro-keys, AND calculator ( excellent combo ).
To keep the trackball running well, I keep a bottle of isopropyl alcohol ( not "rubbing alcohol with glycerine and lotion" ), and a bunch of cotton-swabs, and clean it a couple of times each day. It's a good reminder that I need to
.. drink water, and walk 'round, and such -scratching head bemusedly-...REALLY search for a good price, because they are sold at drastically different prices by different resellers..

Re:Keyboards and Monitors?
As far as modern clicky keyboards go, I can heartily recommend the Focus FK-2001 keyboards. Good, solid, super clicky. Even comes with a dust cover for the keyboard.
Not quite as big-ass as the old IBM keyboards, but quite nice.

Re:Yeah, but how does it feel?
Sometimes I'd like a real tactile keyboard, the ones that click, but I don't know where to find those anymore. I actually have one in my basement, but many years ago I spilled a plastic bonding agent on the keys, and while the board still functions, the keys are all grimy.
I picked up a Focus FK-2001 a few months ago...it's nice and clicky. PC Club had a stack of 'em one day...don't know if they still do, but if not, Price Watch had a couple of vendors that were selling them for around $20. This keyboard model has been around nearly forever, and for good reason.
