I, for one, have believed Google will be going IPO for several months, between overzealous aggression against similiar domain names, patenting their search algorhythm, and other odd actions, I just don't know what to think anymore :( ... Good bye the Google we all used to love...

Google is really breaking out the lawyers lately... They are currently threatening a non-profit (no advertising, no pop-ups, not for sale) site, which clearly was not google.com or associated with google.com (gewgle.com) for trademark infringement, bad faith under UDRP, and more. We have gone back and forth a few times, check out gewgle.com's legal section or just gewgle.com

I own gewgle.com, which forwards search requests to google.com, but I always made it fairly clear that gewgle.com wasn't related to Google and I never made a profit on the site (no advertising,for sale,etc). Anyway, we've gone back and forth a few times, I don't think they have much of a case, but if you want to check out the proceedings, check gewgle.com's legal section or just plain ol' gewgle.com

What is it with companies these days? Gewgle.com has recently received a Cease and Desist letter from Google. More legal details will be posted later.

Google has recently issued a cease and desist letter to Gewgle.com. Seems like their humor has run dry as well, as they no longer understand 'humor' or the concept of 'parody'.

www.gewgle.com follows regulations as well... But then again, it just uses google's search :)
