    Now I am only expecting the next version of Mandriva (the best KDE oriented distro?) to incorporate the new KDE generation. Good work!

    Well, to be fair, they didn't just make up the word, or if they did, it's a happy coincidence that it is a word in a couple other languages.

    You could always just use Kubuntu instead (uses KDE, Konqueror and Ark by default).

    As for KDE, meh, if you mean Kubuntu, say that.. if you don't WTF are you doing running KDE?

    I don't really go for Kubuntu, but I have run KDE under SuSE since 6.1, so I am very comfortable with YaST & KDE.

    I downloaded this for that purpose. I hear some people also report good results with this and with this, as well.

    Sorry, but no. I upgraded to FC4 to FC5 and my soundcard stopped working.
    If you read the article, I believe they wanted you to upgrade to Ubuntu (although I prefer Kubuntu).

    Yeah, the news is a little late. It has appeared on the first mirrors about 3 hours ago. BTW, Kubuntu is out there as well: http://kubuntu.com/download.php (I wouldn't bother downloading it right now, since there's a huge congestion on the servers. I hope it'll be gone in a day or two.)
