Wah? Wah! Waaah. Wa. Waaaaah!
There are not enough characters in the subject line to express how few fucks I can possibly give for Seattle's "soul". Seattle has no soul. They murdered the people who had soul. They fought for their lands, but America subjected them to genocide. They named their city after a native chief who sought accommodation of white settlers, which as history shows was a Very Bad Idea. So they named their city after their favorite Uncle Tom Indian in order to assuage their white guilt and et voila! A crowded, expensive, dirty, and poorly designed city was born. Enjoy the traffic!

Re:Roll-back as in play-back?
References please because I don't believe it. Up until your money was secured by the bank or the government itself, very few appreciated bank robbers because it meant they lost money.
If you haven't heard of these people, or how legendary they were, I can't really help you any further. http://www.legendsofamerica.co...

Re:megadrought theory old
Or were you trying to suggest that the Indians north of the Rio Grande also had huge cities? If so, then, to put it politely, you were mistaken....
Depends on your definition of 'huge' but 100,000 people seems reasonably large.
Precisely. Besides, IIRC, at the time, Mexico City was significantly more populous than Paris. And had much better sanitation. But I'm not sure if I ever read it in a textbook.

Re:Do something cool
Like Stonehenge, the pyramids, the Mori, or some Aztec stuff. A freaking hotel? Might as well make the world's largest toilet paper roll.
Stonehenge? Already done

How about the Stonehenge replica?
I wonder if this includes the life-size stonehenge replica in Washington state.

Re:national security
What on earth is "mustering up any dander"? I mean, I guess you mean getting annoyed at the government. I just can't make the connection to how "mustering" of "dander" fits in.
Try here.
It's an archaic term from the American Old West.

You mean Stonehenge 3.0...
There already is a Stonehenge II, in: Hunt, TX

2.0-RC1

If a replica is good enough for you..
.. and you're in or near washington state, you might want to check out the concrete version in maryhill washington. It was built as a WWI memorial by the 'eccentric' Sam Hill after he was mistakenly told that the original Stonehenge was used for sacrifices.
its not terribly accurate, and its not 'wired for sound', but its kinda cool none-the-less.
