Re:Not enough
Let me get this straight.
You used dictionary.com to find out a technical definition of an acronym and came up short? Wow, apparently you couldn't get the MCSE either.
Esperanto & Mac.Simpsons are not OS X viruses, per f-secure:
http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/esperant.shtml
http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/macsimps.shtml
So you're wrong again there. Maybe if you could provide an actual link. You might need directions.
And Renopo was a shell script, not a virus, that was fixed with a security update from 2004:

And, no, there are still no viruses for OS X. But good luck trying! -

Is the PocketPC needed? The hack seems like it should be able to be done with only an iPod and Griffin's remote thingy. You can record audio into 3rd gen iPods directly, you even record into the left earbud(channel) and the article says you need to mute the right channel.
Anyone got a 3rd gen iPod to try this? I have a 2nd gen.

Re:This article has too much fluff
On the other hand, Google Watch appears to be the site that routinely cries "wolf". I think there's a straight-forward reason to ignore Google Watch. You aren't providing real information, but rather vapid propaganda. For example, we're supposed to get worked up over the fact that a single Google employee worked for a year at the NSA? Is this something like the "one drop" rule? If you ever hire someone who worked for any period of time at the NSA, then you become a tool of the NSA? My point is that, if Google does something particularly heinous, then Google Watch will be well positioned to discredit or hijack any public reaction to this information. Just the kind of operation the CIA would do... hmmm...

Re:Another recent review
Does iPod have FM out to my car stereo?
Not standard, but for about $35 you can buy a slick solution that lets you broadcast your ipod to FM frequencies (and it looks like it was made just for the ipod, well because it was...) Check that out here.
Does IPOD have line-in based recording?
Actually, not yet... but if you did any research you'd see that people found in the firmware the ability to activate ipod recording. Read about it here
Oh, and best yet... it's still an ipod. Slick UI, really light and small and it gets the job done better than any other mp3 player. It's been 2 years and nobody has caught up yet! -
Re:Disinformation as well
Actually, from what I can tell, the "Bert & Osama" picture was not disinformation--it actually happened. A prevailing theory is that the printer which made up the Osama poster in question probably got his Osama images from the 'net, which included the "Bert & Osama" image. This link, which was given in the front page Slashdot post, has a good explanation...

Migration _is_ an important issue
Lindqvist.com has an interesting article about this side of the story. They're elaborating how Micro$oft successfully snatched market share by providing migration tool towards its own product, but making it difficult (or unreliable) to migrate away from their software. Definately worth a read!
