Re:No
Most major cities police departments brodcast an information map that works with a device like the Farradyne Systems Trafficmaster Highway Information Receiver there, and it lets them know where the speed limit changes
;) I know I use one if im unsure of the speed limit to keep me from getting thoose freindly little speeding tickets. -
Want one? $27500
A somewhat older rig for 3D visualization can be bought at Uncle Ira's Moser Electronics site, under the "Exotic Hardware" section.

Re:Heavy duty paper shredders
I hate to tell you, but a shredder is NOT a secure way of disposing of sensitive material. Any intelligence organization or forensics unit worhth their salt can piece documents (and probably even floppy disks) back together. If you have physical material that needs to be destroyed, get something like this . (Search for "dust" or "disintegrator" after opening the page.)

Not quite the same thing
There exist SCSI tape drives that use VHS t120 tapes and can put 15GB on 'em. This place has one such beast in the "Exotic hardware" section.
If you figure out a way to get dual use from your camcorder, I'll just bet the next generation has a "feature" that prevents it from working. Can't have the camcorder sales cannibalizing the tape drive sales, ya know... -
Amiga 3000 $250
From MECO's Misc Category; "Amiga 3000 CPU, with 100M SCSI Disk, 16M ram." for $250. Me, I want the Paragon XP/E listed just below it.
Never dealt with the guy, he's been helpful, polite, and informed in the conversations I've had with him. -
Re:Anybody sell NeXT black hardware?
