    Freedom of Speech is a very nice cocept. I agree on that, but isn't that freedom limited? Shouldn't Freedom of Speech end where discrimination, racism, hate and torture start?

    We are talking about children here. Kids, forced to have sex with adults. Scarred for life!

    Stop bullshitting about censorship. This is something totally different.
    We are not talking about anti-government opinions. I would be one of the first to protest about such a censorship since I do it on my website (here).
    We are talking about breaking the Human Rights here. If this 'censorship' leads to a massive decrease of child pornography on the web: hell yeah! if not: hell yeah! Every country should be doing this!!

    If it's up to me, go get every discriminating, racism-spreading no good website such as www.stormfront.org and take them down!

    With Bush in charge, the 'Free' in 'Land of the Free' means more freedom to spy on people and less for the people themselves.
    I'm do not hate the USA, but the politics need to change, and fast.
    I might be European, but this affects my friends in the States! All US readers: Vote all but Conservative in 2004 please.

    True, in the beginning the type of camera doesn't matter... after some time, it will matter. You will want to play around with the shutter and aperture. You will try other lenses. Once you start with enlargements, you'll see why it's worth paying a bit more for the lens.
    I have a total of 4 camera's, the most reccent one is the Nikon N80 (F80 in Europe, don't ask me why). This is going to be my last camera with 35mm film. Next switch is the Nikon D2H (digital reflex camera), I fell in love. Some of my work.
    Tip: if you shoot B/W, buy a red filter :-)

    I'm the owner of a Nikon N80 35mm film camera. I have tried several digitals, but I bought this film camera instead. All my films are developed on CD. I must say the results are good: an example. All the black&whites are shot with 35mm film. The nice thing is, when i'm in the dark room, I can mess around with stuff you don't find in the Gimp nor in Photoshop. I'm a techie... but when it comes to pictures... 35mm film rules if you ask me. The best digital camera is one with exchangable lenzes, but when i comes to photography, i prefer film.

    Next thing you know, Michael Moore's website will be on that list.
    Some of you may worry abot the freedom of speech on the internet, I think we should worry in a larger scale.
    I'm lucky I'm not a US citizen: I don't want my site to be on that list because I question a lot of international politics on it.
    That Partriot Act is designed to end the freedom of speech, wether on the internet or in real life (ok, for some of us, including myself, the internet is real life).
    Just wonder if we can do anything about it?

    I still believe that the best way to 'play' with Mindstors is by using the Lego sensors, motors and IR transmitter and to combine them with your own prints. The receiver may be the TSOP1136 receiver. Those are cheap and work like the best.
    To give the motors their jice at the right moment, use an IC of the L293 series (like the DIP L239B).
    Of course you will need a controller of some kind... Take the 80C535.
    It's based on 8051 technology and easy to program (I like to code it in Assebly).
    Now, you can even use a LDR to let your robot follow a black line!

    I made a robot, with a fellow student, in function of our thesis. The basic parts were made out of Lego Mindstorms. The system is great, but narrow in expansion. That is why we made our own electronic circuits. You can see some pictures of MADY, the robot here: http://www.menteb.org/robotics.
    More stuff will come soon, like the electronic prints etc. The major part we used in our system is the Lego Mindstorms transmitter that connects to the serial port of your pc.
    Anyway Lego is a wonderful thing!
