    The people at Chilling Effects don't turn the text of the notice into links for you, so you'll have to cut/paste.

    Not really. You can use browser extensions to avoid pasting URLs into address bar.

    What an annoying page..
    I turn off Flash to squelch their highly annoying
    animated ads and none of their graphs show up.

    Just use the Mozilla Firebird browser and install the Flash click to view plugin. Like the name suggests, you won't see any flash unless you explicitly click the flash placeholder.

    I would assume that just like Mozilla let's you block graphics it will eventually let you turn off svg's. I also just found out about the flash blocker,
    Flash Cick to View. It's part of the Firebird extensions but also works great on plain mozilla 1.4 if you get it from the author's page.

    With no popups, no ads and no flash, the web is usable.

    What does Mozilla have for selecting a URL from a text file or something, and opening it in a new tab?

    If you are using Firebird, you can do this with the Plain Text Links extension
