Excellent reference
I recognized the article title as being a play on The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time , though I don't understand the connection between this story and the book.
Anyway, it's an excellent read. -

Good book
Have you read "The Cuckoo's Egg"? http://mostlyfiction.com/adventure/stoll.htm/ Someone hacked the DoD using this method during the Cold War. It was a pretty good read, even if you're not a CS geek.

I still mourn the Newton/eMate.
The smallest integrated computer which was big enough to act as it's own development environment, and had no legacy issues in the OS. Closest thing to the Sandbender (Idoru). *sigh*
