An excerpt from "Nettle vs. ACLU"However, what I was amazed to find is that the ACLU automatically gave my name and address to third parties -- and did it so swiftly that I was already receiving mailings from third parties before I received my ACLU membership packet.

Unfair Use? Amazon's Free Book Giveaway ServiceI blogged this yesterday. I found that it's relatively easy to copy entire books (time-consuming, but easy), using this new service.

Should I sue Eolas for logo infringement?
Eolas' website says they "invented" the stylized "e" logo (the @ symbol applied to the letter "e") and in 1997 licensed it to IBM.
My original Nettle blog had not only the "e" but the "n", the "t", and the "l" stylized in the logo. I registered the nettle.com domain in 1996, and the first thing I did was create a logo for it.
