Re:Come work for me.
Take a look at http://www.highimpactgames.com/jobs.htm
The "Systems Analyst" is a lower paying job -- more for a starter type, but lots of room to move up. Bigger developers in the area have higher salary IT and development positions, but the smaller companies tend to share more royalties with employees -- their closest equivalent to stocks or regular bonuses. They made Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters for the PSP, and your listed website is http://www.psphacks.net/, so I thought there might be some overlap in interest. :) -
Big Deal
I've been able to do this on my cell phone (integrated) here in Japan for years. Every picture I take has it's GPS coordinates embeded into it, and I can make a comment on the picture as well. Old news. Wayyyyyyy old news. http://www.psphacks.net/

Original PostThe original forum post where MPH released this is at http://www.psphacks.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=69
6 3Why does nobody ever mention the original sites in these articles anymore? All the testing and development was going on over there for the last week or so...

Re:s/SonyxTeam/MPH/
Actually you need to be checked: the REAL release is here: http://www.psphacks.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=69
6 3 PSPUpdates has never broken a story or contributed anything except hype to Yoshihiro's previous "downgrader" news. Educate yourself about the sites. -
Re:Start the timers...As ripped from PSPHacks.net:
Some very interesting things going on in the PSP hacking world.
It would seem that someone has gotten the DATA.PSP files from the various update EBOOT.PBP files decrypted.
This is the next step in unlocking the secrets of the PSP's firmware. How to flash/re-flash, and modifying firmware files to suit individual hacker's needs, etc...

Re:The creators site is here
Ever try psphacks.net?
They may not update as often as pspupdates, but at least you can trust the source. Also, that's where the forum post that started this all got posted by the creator (Zi).

This is so stupid
This is lame. I submitted this article to slashdot in a more complete format, with links to the original emulator, links to the original forum post on the psphacks.net forums and the original article that was posted right after this guy announced his creation and way before pspupdates ever picked it up.
How come slashdot always posts the crap articles and never the complete ones. Come on guys.
This article first appeared on psphacks.net but of course, the mass media site that grabbed the story like, hours after it had been posted elsewhere gets the credit.
This was originally on psphacks.net, not pspadvertisements.com! -

It's about time. The guys at psphacks.net have some information too.
I, for one, plan to get it ASAP. I think the browser is a great addition.
I am dissapointed in Sony for working so hard to disable the hacks people have come up with. What's it to them how we use the HW we bought?
I really think Sony should consider removing the barriers to homebrew software! Does anyone have any insight into why they're so uptight about it?

Re:Don't get all excited
These only work on LAUNCH PSPs from Japan, Sony started requiring hardware signing after that. It's not going to be "cracked" for 1.5.x anytime soon.

Yeah I contributed this yesterday...Three times in fact.
The PSP Hacked: Elf to PBP Wednesday May 04, @07:42PM Rejected
Twas rejected
:(I think it was PSP Hacks who had it first too. And WD reporting on it a few hours later as a headline.
Good start for dev on the PSP - which was only a matter of time even if reported late and without accuracy.

Actually
It looks like the first 3 games that were ripped were each less than 500MB. You could, in fact, get all three of those games on one 2GB memory stick. Unless there is a ton of FMV, I wouldn't guess that most PSP games are going to use anywhere close to 1.8GB. Although, we could see game studios putting junk content on the disk to up the size to try to stem pirating if it becomes possible

Re:Not working
The original post of this is here:

Another interesting thing
This website:
http://www.psphacks.net/ contains most of these articles, and even put up a copy of that blog yesterday.
They're raffling off a PSP as well.
Get your news there first!
