    To be a lot more effective such announce should be spread a little bit more.

    Mozilla will be the browser for many alternative OSes (read OS/2, BeOS, Linux, Qnx, Aix ....). Some of these OS already back up the mozilla project , and donate engeeniring forces to the project thats good but for other OSes, distro etc it's not the case So i sugest this announce to be publihed on sites like :

    advogato

    Beunited

    QnxStart

    I don't know any windows related sites, but adnantech should do it.

    This announce should also be mailed on developing mailing lists like apple's darwin developement list
    .

    Anyway a lot of great doc are available here and are good sartup point. Sometimes ago some video detailling how to dig in the code where available on mozilla's web site (but I can't find them right now).

    I think it's a pretty safe bet you've never actually used QNX.

    In fact, tell me if you do anything besides play with it, and say "gee, that looks really cool; I wish it had some apps", and then go back to your pitiful little slashbot existence. Please, let me know.

    For smp in QNX RtP check out http://staff.qnx.com/~cdm/smp/. QNX Neutrino is the OS used for the QNX RtP (the "desktop" qnx). And QNX 4 is the os used for embedded applications (can probably be used as a desktop os aswell).

    I've been using QNX RTP for almost 3 weeks with the SMP kernel, and it's sooo nice! I didn't see anyone who mentioned it, but a good place to go for software and tech support is www.qnxstart.com, and the extremely helpful people in #QNX on EfNet.

    QNXStart.com is a new third party developers forum for QNX. Unfortunately it is not a mirror site
    But it has some downloads: Gimp,ICQ,AbiWord among others. By the way, some other sites of interest:

    gcc, and Voyager - an HTML 3.2 compliant browser are included in the base. You can download, browse and install additional software including a Mozilla based browser and AbiWord using the package installer. I think qnxstart.com has GIMP and XPDF ported
