Re:China Continues to Surpass the US
Caffeinated Bacon/Crimson Tsunami:
First off, China has not surpassed America once in space exploration. Landing on the moon? 50 years ago. Landing out of sight? Try mars.
Manufacturing technology that CHina employs came from the west. They continue to STILL steal it.
But there are 2 main reasons why Chinese are moving heavily to the west:
1) to escape your communism. Now, your gov is getting upset with this and trying to stop the wealthy and middle class from leaving, but laws and bullets.
2) to steal technology. we just have to be more aware of what you are up to. -

Re:problems
Yup, it's all the women's fault.
Of course not. It is an object lesson in making all problems the fault of the males though. A good example is what happened in primary and secondary schools. Finding a male teacher outside of say a football coach is getting very difficult. But even back in my high school days I heard that male teachers are very suspicious - why would a man who in't a pedophile be interested in teaching? And now, males are becoming extinct in teaching http://professionallyspeaking....
So the crime of teachers engaging in sex with underage students has gone completely away - we totally fixed the problem.
Then again, perhaps I am assuming the gender of these teachers who like to fuck children:
http://www.zimbio.com/The+50+Most+Infamous+Female+Teacher+Sex+Scandals . Fortunately, the female teacher's are once again, the victims. http://www.ign.com/boards/thre... Males - is there anything they do that isn't wrong? Child male rapists, wearing down the defenses of the selfless adult women that the child then proceeds to rape. A 34 year old woman who is defenseless against a child male, merely points out the insidious level of the patriarchy. Lest you think this is an isolated case there is more teacher rape by male rapist children: http://rare.us/rare-news/whats...

Re:"Suggesting" ...
Well, apparently telling the truth is interfering with US elections, oh my (someone wasn't thinking when they put out this release). So Putin directly involved in the hacks, hmm, hunched over a keyboard typing away, expert computer hacker, on top of everything else. What is the White House trying to do promote Putin as the worlds greatest head of state in the world, the bare chested, bear riding computer hacker.
The Russian government is only able to run rings around the US government because the US government is a chaotic mess with individual multi-national corporations able to pull it in different, often competing and contradictory directions at the same time (as well other countries who not only interfere but have direct contradictory controls over the US government, two prime examples Israel and Saudi Arabia both of who should be actively kicked out from involvement in US elections, who can forget the Israeli government issuing instructions to the US government in public https://www.youtube.com/watch?... and not one squeak about it except http://rare.us/story/rand-paul..., seriously what the fuck is the matter with Americans putting up with that shit, seriously). At lot of the good efforts done by the US government are undone by the US government, so much so, that the Russian government just has to sit back and watch the chaos unfold on it's own, as it picks up the pieces.
Fucking hell, whine about Russia when Israel and Saudi Arabia have been fucking over American elections for decades, what the fuck is wrong with Americans.

Re:Ethiopia Joins the Doom March!
True. France has even outdone the USA however with terrorist over-reaction... They have suspended democratic principles for over a year and even passed their own "Patriot Act on Steroids"...
https://news.vice.com/article/...
"France's state of emergency legislation allows the government and the police to search and detain people without a warrant, place suspects under house arrest without prior judicial clearance, block certain websites, and ban public gatherings."
"UN experts expressed alarm that environmental activists in France have been under house arrest in connection with the state of emergency invoked following the November attacks."http://rare.us/story/france-ha...
"The fact is that France already has a latitudinous surveillance law—call it the PATRIOT Act on steroids. At least in theory, [the US's FISC is] a layer of accountability. France’s power of oversight, on the other hand, is vested in a committee chaired by [the Prime Minister], who can singlehandedly override the other members’ objections. The French law also forces Internet Service Providers to install “black boxes” that vacuum up metadata and make it accessible to intelligence agencies. It contains a “sneak-and-peek” provision similar to the PATRIOT Act, which allows government operatives to break into suspects’ homes and monitor them. And it green-lights the use of ISMI catchers—essentially incognito cell towers, they sweep up all phone communications within a given area, including, if needed, people’s locations. Even worse, while the PATRIOT Act is explicitly limited to terrorism, the French law applies to other cases, including those of “organized delinquency.” It can also be activated to protect the country’s “economic, industrial and scientific interests,” which is so elastic as to include just about everything. Senator Rand Paul was absolutely correct to call the French law “a thousandfold more invasive” than anything on the books in America." -
Will it become illegal to use non-cellular phone?
Today, if you deposit cash into your bank account in portions under $10000, the IRS may decide, you are doing it with the intent to avoid having to report the deposit to them and seize all your money — no judge, no jury. The current nominee for Attorney General is particularly infamous for expanding this practice (and for distancing herself from it to win the nomination).
How soon before the FBI and lesser police start treating use of wired telephones — to eavesdrop on which the police still need these pesky Judiciary's approval — with similar suspicion? Following IRS' example, they might then start prosecuting people simply for making non-cellular calls with the intent to avoid eavesdropping.

Re:Why?
I think one of the biggest problems we have in the country is this rampant cronyism where all these large companies are into smash-and-grab, short-term profits, and that's true even at the local level
... We end up with a two-tier system. Those that have, have welfare for the rich.Yeah, those evil Koch brothers and their country-destroying messages. Sure wouldn't want them spreading their view to the public! C'mon, viewing everything in the world through a political lens is foolish.

Privacy concerns now outweigh terrorism in polls
The NSA scandal has been so earth-shattering with regards to raising awareness of government surveillance that concerns over civil liberties now outweigh concerns over protecting the country. The shift is across party lines as well. It's no wonder politicians of either party have been decrying a rising trend of libertarianism. Whether or not it's accurate to classify today's anti-government fears as such, the fact that the U.S. has become the kind of country to seek asylum from is staggeringly insane. The "trust us" defense isn't good enough.
