Re:SaaS? Try SoaS!
Hey. Show a little respect. A few of us are veterans and have fond memories of SOS. I don't want anyone besmirching the reputation of a Food that Fed Freedom by associating it with Lotus Notes in any form.

Re:Exercise while you work.
Others have responded with similar ideas, but I definitely recommend making a batch of food say over the weekend (or your day off), refrigerating it, then doling it out as the week goes along for lunch/dinner/whatever. I usually make something with a good mix of carbs and protein, so stuff like pasta salads, lasagnas, vegetarian chilies, etc. I recommend the website Recipezaar.com as you can filter ingredients, which is handy if you just happen to have certain ingredients in the pantry. But this solution can a) cut costs, b) cut sodium, c) increase your cooking skills, and d) possibly make more delicious meals.

Re:Another view
Best peanut butter recipe I could find, Tiger. Now go play while we big kids throw rocks at Microsoft's Redmond office-windows in disgust at the new DRM-infested OS.
And to Knights who say 'INT: regarding your reply below, despite my somewhat troll-like replies, I'm glad to see that you understand. I guess at some point I just got so sick of seeing people have the same "aha" moments that I did, that I projected my own self-embarrassment onto you and others with that spark, and for this I humbly apologize.
(You guys have to try trolling! It's so much fun!)
Sincerely,

Does God clean the shrimp? And the voice came to him again a second time, "What God has cleansed, you must not call common."
I see, so in this recipe, in the part that says "Peel and devein shrimp (or have your seafood guy do it for you)", the seafood guy is God? How should I prepare that dish, will a simple prayer get the shrimp peeled and deveined by miracle? I believe not, because Jesus specifically mentioned in Matthew:
6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father
knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art
in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
etc...
Conclusion: if the Bible is right, then the shrimp will automatically become peeled and deveined.
Alternative explanation: if God exists, then He doesn't speak through either the Bible or any other text which is claimed to be inspired by Him. Priests and religious leaders are just a bunch of greedy old bastards who like giving orders and the power that the faith gives them. -
Re:Charts are great, but where's the parameters?
As I note in my blog entry on the subject, there's a site called Recipezaar which has the ability to scale its recipes. It doesn't really do the massive-scale stuff (e.g. it won't convert 1/2 cup of flour to pounds when scaling from 4 to 240 diners; it won't even convert to pecks or bushels, but leaves everything in cups), but it's still pretty clever.

Re:One suggestion...
I like using http://www.recipezaar.com. They are similar to google in the manner that you can websearch for recipes and also you can make a list of what ingredients you have and match it to a particular recipe in their database.

Re:Dumping rabbits
(If you have a rabbit, by the way, we recommend the House Rabbit Handbook [isbn.nu] because it's simply the best guide out there.)
I'd recommend this recipe for Hasenpfeffer. Delicious AND nutritious.
