Soft Socialism replaced by hard Communism
After it fails, if you are lucky, your country's soft Socialism is rejected — as happened in Scandinavia, even if Sanders' fans don't know it.
If you aren't lucky, it is replaced by the hard Communism...

Re:What's the immigration status of these families
The US will turn blue, give it thirty years. Those 'pesky minorities' have a habit of voting democrat.
I think you should take a hard look at the Cuban population in Florida. Also consider the values of most Mexican Americans and Mexican migrants. The democrats may be a little surprised in the next few decades what side of the fence they fall on.
Anyway, I would hope that over the next 10-20 years we'd continue with change if only in small increments to the current 2 party system. I hate to imagine the Democrat and Republican parties looking as they do now or even being the major powers in 30 years.
Signs of hope?: http://redalertpolitics.com/20... -
Re:Dice, we get it you don't like Ms. Clinton
While that seems like the conventional wisdom, it does not appear to be the case. Even the DNC is concerned about stealing votes away from Johnson.

The only way this could be a more blatant "Conservative" Propaganda site is if they named it Hitler Youth Life
You may want to read up on ad hominem attacks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_hominem).
Unless you want to prove that "Z Pizza" in Seattle isn't closing or that the owner isn't attributing it to the new minimum wage laws.

Re:This is good
I am for a two minimum wage system. Well, four, if you count minors. But anyway...
The standard minimum wage of whatever.
A higher one for businesses which make more than X per year and have more than Y employees, with it equal to 120% of the standard minimum wage.Although, I imagine a place like LA needs a higher wage. But I would have thrown in small business exceptions.
Thank goodness something like Pizza shop worker loves Seattle’s new $15 minimum wage, until he finds out that it cost him his job doesn't ever happen. Oh wait.

Completely Out of Control. Need Proof?
If you need proof that the current program is completely out of control and being abused resulting in a waste of American tax dollars, just take a look at this guy.
This is what we need to prevent. Yes, programs providing real support to those trying to better themselves should be supported to provide basic needs. However we could do far more of that if we kick the people off support who are basically stealing from each and every American in the way this guy is.

Re:I've got a better idea
A fun fact for today: the "fiscal cliff" bill passed the other day includes a tax break for Hollywood movies and TV shows, $20 million per episode or per movie. Despite the fact that 2012 was the best ever year for movies
