    best show ever. 10 minutes of science, and 30 minutes adam hurting himself. i love them.

    All these people defending Mythbusters, and not one has mentioned the best feature of the show. Kari is really hot. A bit ditzy, but still really hot.

    Regardless, it seems like the show got dumbed down. Especially the later seasons. Maybe I just noticed it more before I stopped watching. It seems like it switched from being about interesting stuff, to being about making the biggest explosion and having a higher potential for injury.

    Biographry of Kari -- "Sculptor, painter, actor and one-time-only backside-model."

    Nuclearbeef dedicated photograph area to Kari -- I think this photo of her compares with brother Rob "CmdrTaco" Malda having chosen to wife with sister Kathleen. But before anyone goes around shootin' their wads, just remember that Kari flies the horns just like every Satanist in the McWorld.

    I don't think they mean to spread freeBSD.

    I know it's hard to believe that I upgraded from Debian Unstable to Ubuntu Hoary just to satisfy my question, but the answer appears to be "no". The line art and text in 0.1.9 appear to be the same as 0.1.5.

    Evince is pretty hawt, but has the rendering improved since 0.1.5? I can't use Evince 0.1.5 (or xpdf and its applications) to view technical datasheets. I simply can't make out the details.

    Here's a comparison with Acrobat 7 on the left and Evince 0.1.5 on the right. Acrobat 5 renders identically to Acrobat 7.

    One feature I do appreciate in Evince is that it shows the document's title in the window title. Acrobat shows the filename, which is pointless and frequently of the form "/tmp/crap8x7df78".

    I hacked it together in Perl, to make use of the Berkeley DB interfaces and the MIME parsing modules. Took about 30 minutes. I'm working on a C library that could be linked into mutt or pine or whatever, but I'm finding the available MIME code in C cumbersome.

    You can grab the source here, but it is specific to the exact way that my mail gets delivered (via offlineimap into maildirs).
