places me squarely opposed to what everyone & every industry is doing. Unless, of course, you insist on calling it perpetual motion even though it is not perp. Never was & isn't now. The energy imparted into the balls is translated into the generator rotation. No motion is left when the balls return back to start.

Outside energy is involved -indirectly, gravity energy vehicle moving inertia/kinetic energy- that is engaged, ERASING THE PERP TAG. Air compressors replace the springs & shocks {that do nothing with all the road contact energies, stopping/starting/turning energies}... instead using EVERY SCRAP OF ENERGY NOW BEING IGNORED. Real-time energy!, not stored energy. Even the car battery is but a fraction of the present weight & size.

The electrical energy now being used for 50,000 volt spark plugs is used instead to heat small amounts of water into flash steam, much like the flash steam from a steam iron. SMALL AMOUNTS of WATER with a SMALL PUMP runs the water droplets through an electrically heated conduit enroute to the engine cylinder.

I think some people think this must be a mini steam locomotive; wrong. Maybe same-page Erchak would understand how different this system is from the steam locomotive since he recognizes a totally new technology when he sees it. Steam "power" isn't what the steam supplies. Steam supplies a quickening catalyst that helps the SMALL TINY amount of liquid air to E.X.P.L.O.D.E, not just e x p a n d, EXPLODE.

The steam is a catalyst to the compressed air {liquid at Minus 320 Fahrenheit} so it the air explodes into instant expansion {horsepower-time = instant in time = Full afterburners y'all}. At the same time, the cold of the expanding air catalysts the H2O in the steam to INSTANT COLLAPSE. This instant vacuum sucks the piston head toward the expanding air and the expanding air toward the piston head. I've had a design for a "true" hybrid engine that combines 2 fluids into an engine cylinder, where they combine. Due to their vastly different temperatures they explode. The engine would roughly be 1/3 the weight of current vehicle engines. Emissions? There are none. It runs a 100% closed system. No exhaust by-products because there isn't any exhaust. One prototype of the engine was built and ran in 1997 but the professor who created it made a few mistakes that severely lowered the Power Output. I found it in 2003 & changed it. Every stroke is a power stroke, which is a 400% increase over combustion engines. Every 4th stroke in a combustion engine has to recompress the cylinder contents so a combustion banger has to actually OVERPRODUCE power so there's enough left over for the compression stroke.

Mine doesn't have to do all that. Many schools & universities are looking over the engine now, especially the University of Washington because that's where the prototype was built. With all the improvements plus so many of the power robbers gone plus a weight reduction {no cooling system, no exhaust system, smaller size}, they know the "effective" horsepower of an engine like mine is awesome. Which is GREAT... but the reduced cost to consumers {accident repairs & reduced roadway surface repairs} could really do a lot to reverse our tremendous National Debts.

Which means the so-called "American Dream" came 3 steps closer and 2 steps back. That's my personal opinion, that we have been pulling a wagon that turned out to have SQUARE WHEELS. We work Harder it fights back harder. Apparently our economy has some built-in FAILURES that even a Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King didn't anticipate would act as a giant Jake Brake.

The Newcomen steam engine pioneered the principle that I re-discovered for myself in 2003, that the mixing of different fluid temperatures can create Work by instantly producing a Vacuum. Essentially making a "Climate Engine"... a very fast climate. The climactic changes (http://www.newpath4.com/icyhot4.htm) inside the cylinder occur so fast that the resulting power goes exponential http://www.newpath4.com/icyhot7.htm. http://www.newpath4.com/NNINDEX/nnindex.htm contains the rest of the links. Basically, the engine is "self-cooled" because the cold & hot balance each other, so the entire cooling system (and its weight) is eliminated, the engine weight reduction reduces required horsepower to drag itself down the highway. There's no combustion so there's no exhaust, eliminating the entire exhaust system (and its weight). The returning piston doesn't have to compress any fuel so it obtains a significant horsepower gain again. Such an engine has been estimated to produce 75-100hp easily but combined with the overall weight reductions (plus no compression needed to be created by the return stroke), the "effective horsepower" of this tiny powerhouse should exceed 200 horsepower (pulling power). Currently I am working on making an animated gif that explains/shows how the kinetic energy of the moving vehicle is to be used for re-compressing the "used" air. Once this engine starts off (no starter, just its own compressed air) and is moving down the highway, it begins generating its own fuel (compressed air), so it is a climate engine that generates its own climate on-the-fly. No combustion, no pollution, global warming comes to a near-halt, once an automaker decides to build it. It is true there are new hybrids coming online that get great fuel mileage but they are very heavy, weighing over 2600 lbs. generally, sitting on tiny wheels that will continue to bust up the asphalt and concrete highways with a vengeance, whereas my lighter engine & car design would not do that. We won't give up our speed and will be able to continue our street racing at night.

What I do say is that when considering the equation for horsepower, one should keep in mind that Speed defeats Time & Leverage defeats Weight... which is why a diminutive oriental man can break boards with his big toe or fist. I hope you take time to re-consider my conclusions. I have shown how to make a mousetrap that resets itself. You say it can't be done yet I've spelled it out how it can be. By the way, you have made an error in your assessment. I have not proposed using existing suspension. My placement for the compressor pistons is nearer to the vehicle center of gravity so that as the car body moves the massive weight overhanging out beyond the pistons is exerting a magnified force. This makes it possible for the pistons to be OVERSIZED, not small like present shocks. The increased piston diameter reduces range of motion in the pistons, thereby reducing generated heat. You cannot speed read through my Work. It is a multi-faceted solution that replaces easy gasoline explosions with two energies riding into the cylinder in the inert air & steam. The energies interact and explode with no combustion... Sort of like how a Vinegar and Baking Soda rocket works. Except of course the vinegar rocket only works ONCE. First off, the nurse couldn't find a pulse. Not in my right wrist then not in the left wrist. hahaha Some of you were hoping eh? For the 1st time in my life a nurse had to whip out a stethoscope to find a HEARTBEAT.
