Re:Uh...right
Worse yet - giving the Daily Fail hits.
Here's the music so you don't make the Daily Mail money from their advertisers to spew out more hate:

Personally I found the artificial synth sound annoying, not relaxing, but my system is calibrated to the Eno scale.

Last song on the album: New internet anthem?
I think everyone here has wanted to say this to at least a few people in their lives. It's a great rip on a Jim Steinman/Meatloaf-style track, and an important message the whole world needs to hear:

Re:wrong place for my bandsite
Soundcloud is where I find stuff nowadays, at least for electronic music. It's so much better than Myspace in terms of usability it's ridiculous, especially since Myspace's horrible redesign. Plus, Soundcloud provides very nice embeddable widgets for playing tracks or albums - lots of artists have a Facebook page which provides a news feed of releases which embed tracks from their Soundcloud page, and use FB for events and so on.

Re:Cloud, eh?
Y'know, I was thinking of setting bitcoin payment up for my own stuff, since it seems to be readily convertible from hard currency. The only problem being, I'd have to do transactions and send download links manually. Oh well. For a very low-volume service, that should be fine, but higher-volume... well...
Not that it ought to matter unless I ever get more than, say, ten a day, which is beyond how many downloads I usually get in a week as it is.
But maybe that's a subject for an Ask Slashdot post and not a buried comment thread.

The most impressive way to not get laid.
Holy crap, I'm doomed!
I turned "Hello World" into an experimental track by translating the phrase into morse code and using it as a synth buzz beat hook... -
Re:Give the old guys a break
Truefact: Shine on you crazy diamond sounds like a sea chanty/jazz fusion when listened to at 300% speed
I expect a DMCA notice any time now (I maintain it's a parody)

Re:Good.
Most of my music is for film, installation and video, under my real name. The Waxwing Slain is just a little ambient project that I mess with now and again. Most of my music is sold as commissioned work, the same way as a painter or sculptor. I sell the work, I sell the license too. The buyer can do whatever they want with it, including make copies and sell them.
You can hear a sample of my ambient work here:

Re:Time for an indie-myspace: SoundCloud
Yes, such a young, fresh upstart already exists:
Check out Soundcloud. The whole point of soundcloud is to allow signed and unsigned artists and even indie-labels to share their music with interested people.
Music tagging, favoriting, timed comments, integration with other platforms and a fresh user interface makes me like it a lot.
Plus, it's not contaminated with the major labels and based in Germany so less prone to false DMCA takedown notices.
