Re:Crosshairs shouldn't be that hard
I think that's the hard part.
Think about developing a handheld game that needs to work on all screen sizes (iPhone, iPad, Android, Simbian, etc etc....). There have been efforts to minimize these problems.
Then think about the UI for a web page or game. There have been some pretty successful results, while they are anything but simple.
Now think about adding a 3rd dimension to all those problems. It's not as easy as saying "just make it realistic". There is a reason why lives are spent on UI. It's not an easy task and it just got a 3rd Dimension.
Oh and was it just me or did anyone think it was just a 3D FPS (Like Tribes, Q3, you know.... All FPS?) and not a 3D Displayed FPS. -

Re:Proof he owns the moon.
You've missed some memos....

With all the bluster, I say it's mine until you get boots on the ground to displace my claim - kinda like Iraq or Afghanistan.
I, for one, speaking for many, certainly hope you're not advocating a surge to La Luna Grande!

Re:Achilles Heel.
Know any good sites that of course will have samples of the music to help guide me?
Jamendo, Magnatune, Bandcamp, Amie Street, TheSixtyOne and Zunior; to name a few.

From PortalFrom the Wiki
GLaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System, voiced by Ellen McLain), a computer artificial intelligence that monitors and directs the player.
She's from the video game Portal, the reason people say "The cake is a lie!" She is an unreliable narrator throughout the game, who promises cake when you pass all the tests (but she actually means death)
GLaDOS is the one singing in Still Alive - the song playing during the ending credits. It's written by Jonathan Coulton - known for his song Code Monkey, among other things (like the acoustic version of Baby Got Back) -
Re:That sucks
http://www.imeem.com/ - Like youtube, but for music I guess. It has a lot of good playlists, even for my doom metal tastes.
imeem's user interface sucks: Get your back button ready, you'll be using it a lot. Even if there is a way to listen to things without having to go to a specific page, the UI still sucks because it isn't immediately obvious to me how to do it.A really good music website is http://www.thesixtyone.com/ Their selection of music is very tiny, but the UI is amazing. You can play any song without having to load a new page. When you're listening to one song, you can visit other pages and even search without the music stopping. After you get used to this UI, you'll wish youtube worked the same way.

http://last.fm/ is also a great source for discovering music.

Something I ran into yesterday on boingboing
Clearly the RIAA is scared shitless about new media. Sites such as thesixtyone give hope though.
