Re:Depends on a context.
Alright fuckwit - here you go. Looks like there are three "Arabic" attacks in that list. Learn to debate properly or shut the fuck up - the world has enough bullshit in it already.

Re:Sorry, couldn't resist ...When will more Americans die from terrorism in any given year than die on America's highways? I believe we will see that occur in our lifetime.
Terrorist Incidents > by Region Range: 01/01/1968 - 04/14/2007
North America Incidents:588 Injuries:4344 Fatalities:3568
Middle East / Persian Gulf Incidents:13788 Injuries:52063 Fatalities:25859
Global TOTAL Incidents:32904 Injuries:114327 Fatalities:49379http://www.tkb.org/IncidentRegionModule.jsp
The U.S. Department of Transportation's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has released preliminary projections on motor vehicle traffic crash fatalities and injuries during 2005. According to a preliminary report, 43,200 died on the nation's highways in 2005, up from 42,636 in 2004. Injuries dropped from 2.79 million in 2004 to 2.68 million in 2005, a decline of 4.1 percent.

What the hell are you talking about? If you'll look above global terrorism in the past 39 years, barely passes the number of deaths caused by cars in 2005 in the US alone. There are better sources for information than wikipedia. You're wrong, you're just wrong.

Re:Right, so when would you
You may want to brush up your terrorism history. During the cold war many European countries had to deal with Communist terror organizations such as the RAF http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Army_Fraction . Just type in any Western EU country into the MIPT Terrorism Knowledge Base at http://www.tkb.org/Home.jsp and see for yourself. Those terrorist organizations were often indirectly sponsored by the Soviets and always Anti-American.
Nevertheless the largest attack against US forces was actually carried out in Beirut by Hizbollah against US marines after which Reagan immediately "cut and run" from Lebanon.
Then there was the especially despicable hijacking of the Achille Lauro http://www.specialoperations.com/Images_Folder/lib rary2/achille.html.
Of course all the terror Gaddafi sponsored should not be forgotten either. Lockerbie claiming the most victims http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan_Am_Flight_103 but it was the bombing of a Berlin discotheque that claimed the lives of GIs that prompted Reagan to bomb Tripolis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1986_Berlin_discotheq ue_bombing.
Terror incidents have been a constant backdrop throughout the cold war. Yet somehow the West managed to win this war without losing its soul. According to you this should have been impossible. -
Re:Canada-France-Hawaii telescope?
Good luck with that. The Texans who tried to do the same thing haven't had much success. I find it odd that they're in the TKB, but no Hawaiian groups are.

Re:Profiling is worse than random searches.
Do the math, then face reality.
I've done the math.
How about you use a half decent source and half decent math, then face reality.
Your little list only has about 50 incidents (if 911 is four hijackings), of which 14 alone are FALN ("police tied 13 other bombings to the group.").
So how you get to even 99% (on a list of 50 that would mean they have to be _all_ muslim / arab) is beyond me.
Take a half-decent source like tkb http://www.tkb.org/ and you might get somewhere (approx 30000 incidents, covering past 40 years).
Unfortunately they don't look to have an easy way of breaking out attacks against Americans (or by muslim / non).
So lets work it the other way round, take a few of the major known non-muslim groups who target Americans and look at the known events (American targets):
FALN: (120+ bombings)
FARC: 10+
November 17: 10+
Unabomber: 16
ELN: 5+
SO, we are looking at 150+, say 150.
[ Note that I've left out "The Aliens of America" incidents, since he now claims to have been AQ (back when Bin Laden was a small child) - but general consensus seems to be that he was just a nutter on a vengeance trip. ]
If that 150 is 1%, then you need to find 15,000 events by muslims / arabs attacking Americans.
Good luck doing that, TKB (as above) only has 12k total, (worldwide, all groups, all targets), that are by a known group (yep, that means 18k, ie. more than half, are unknown group). So you might be able to get some from there, but you'll still need to find a whole bunch of others.
Or maybe you could just realise you are plain wrong. -
Re:Racism
The IRA usually attacked in the United Kingdom. But, when I refer to 'Ireland', I am including Northern Ireland in that geographical reference. I realize that Northern Ireland is legally and technically a part of the UK, but, it is part of the Island of Ireland. (I admit that I am letting some of my own political preferences leak out when I refer to Northern Ireland as being part of 'Ireland').
Also, note that the IRA did not limit it's attacks to the UK/Northern Ireland/Ireland. It also operated throughout Europe and sometimes in other parts of the world.

Check out http://www.tkb.org/ and get back to us when you have proof of your statement.

Re:FurthermoreThe outcry that occured when they stopped publishing "Global Patterns on Terrorism" was not because there was no longer an annual report. It was because the report you point out above, which already existed separately since 1985(you are incorrect about a renaming), did not include any statistics or chronology of attacks. So, instead of the normal detailed report, (which would show a marked increase in terrorist activities for 2004), they turned it into a a political propaganda piece with statements like this that don't tell us anything at all:
Many other countries were hit by terrorist attacks; the most deadly, like Beslan, Madrid, and the Philippines ferry, were committed by local groups, many inspired by or linked to al-Qa'ida.
I see that they responded to the criticism of the 2004 "report" by adding some actual numbers to the 2005 report. Unfortunately, they only cite totals of private american citizens killed. So it is still not useful at all as a global report on terrorism. Ah, wikipedia says this:The Country Reports on Terrorism does not provide any statistics on terrorism like its predecessor. It simply has several chapters dealing with a country and any progress it has made in fighting the War on Terrorism. However, a separate report [1] released by the National Counter Terrorism Center gave a chronology of "significant terrorist events," something not featured in the Country Reports. That report said there were 651 "significant" attacks in 2004, which left 1,907 people killed and around 8,000 wounded. These figures were the highest in 21 years of compiled data on terrorism.

Re:You're all being watched like prisoners...
Bin Laden has a huge heap of money. Most people with similar sized money-heaps in the US are pretty free too...
Like the Pakistani Millionaire who is currently being held in Guantanamo without trial?

Note, he may be guilty, he may be innocent. I have no idea, but he does deserve Habeas Corpus, IMO everyone does. -
Queue the Whackos
So this vaccine is probably on track to save millions of people, and will probably be used as an agent to eradicate ebola.
So when does ALF firebomb the lab?
