There is another option for an excellent keyboard with the Alt/Command keys in the right place for a Mac user: a Sun keyboard.
I am typing this on a Sun Microsystem's Type 6 USB keyboard, Item-number #320-1271. You can order one at the Sun Store for $60:

I'm currently using LEDA C++ package which provides many functions to do computation on graphs. It has a feature-rich interface to display and manipulate graphs. You can change the layout (spring, random, etc.) on the fly within that interface. If you are programming in C++ then you'll find LEDA is a great help. LEDA is platform-independent (I've used Win32 and Linux version), but obviously you cannot display your result within browsers.

No need to hack USB support for Keyboard and mice it is already in Solaris 8. All new Sun kit is using USB for keyboard and mouse connections. The Sun Type 6 keyboard has a USB variant. I belive the Type 6 Sun keyboard has even been made to run on Linux on Intel.

just look at the powerfull xsymbol package for xemacs. Really great.
