Re:Interview the Enabler Please (Its been done)
Interviews where once carried out by United Admins on System, My self(ReDucTor) and Vasily Pumpkin, these interviews have been removed, this was a couple of years ago. At the beginning of cheats becoming very extreme in Counter-Strike, all 3 of us played a big part in teaching people how cheats work and how people would develop them on what was the Client Bot boards.

Cheating Death - anticheat for HLCheating-Death (C-D) is an anti-cheat system which includes both a server and client. Unlike HLGuard, which is a server-side only anti-cheat, C-D offers more protection by blocking the cheats themselves before the player joins the server.
While in optional mode, players are checked for a running C-D client and will rename the player if they don't have C-D currently installed and running. For optimal protection against cheaters, servers can be configured to only allow players running the C-D client.
Unfortunately, the C-D anti-cheat system is incompatible with VAC secured MODs. As of v2.2.0, C-D can work with VAC supported MODs as long as VAC is disabled. Otherwise, C-D will shutdown if VAC is detected.

Re:Uh-oh
Sweet! I would strongly recommend looking for servers that Require Cheating-Death as many Day of Defeat Servers do not have any sort of Hack Detection enabled.

Re:Wallhackers and the honesty of surveillance
I usually play CounterStrike. The servers that I will only play are on, are they ones with anti-cheat protection.
Most of them run HLGuard or Cheating Death. Both seem to work for the average cheaters. But once and a while, you get people who get through, that are either increadably good, or cheating. Sometimes it is very hard to tell apart.
The anti-cheat protection software that runs on the client/server will only block script kiddies. What happends when a smart player figures out how to make his own cheat, and keeps it to himself? There is possible no way to tell.
My question is, What motivates cheaters to keep playing? Cheating elimnates the challenges that make the game fun in the first place! -
