    Here is the SoC page for WinLibre projects. Nine of them have succeeded. It has been a wonderful experience !

    Google did bring in some $90000 worth of support through their Summer of Code project.

    Not to mention the remaining 1.91M they spent on other projects. FreeBSD just one of about 40 projects mentoring 400 students. The Nmap Security Scanner project is mentoring 10 of them, who have already produced great work! A list of their credentials and projects is available here. I'll give an update on their progress at my Defcon Presentation this Friday at 10AM.

    How can you introduce to FOSS the largest user base ? Port your OSS app to windows !
    "Once people are used to apps, it doesn't matter what OS is underneath."
    In fact this is the most efficient way to spread the world !
    Let them try WinLibre or TheOpenCD and they'll switch soon or later to Linux..

    You could make a completly free computer by mixing ReactOS and WinLibre or TheOpenCD on an Xbox hardware.

    There are also WinLibre and GnuWinII if you don't like the application selection in TheOpenCD. And you can make your own compilation :-)

    You can use free software distribution for Windows like GnuWin or the french WinLibre.
