    You're forgetting that the recent decision to remove firmware and documentation that do not adhear to the social contract may push the next release out until 2005.
    That's not to say that there isn't a resolution to try to reinterpret or create an exception for this release. In which case, you would be right, this installer has been key to the release.

    Now wait a minute. That was supposed to be a big starship, on a par with an aircraft carrier. According to Starship Dimensions, an Imperial Star Destroyer is 1.6 km long. This model is 1/20 scale, so it depicts a ship about 40 meters long. That's roughly the size of a Coast Guard cutter.

    This isn't a model. This is a kid's dollhouse.

    Instead of just karma whore with a wget, I made a listing for the Distributed Mirror Project of the site. I added the mirrors listed here (that I could connect to), and they are listed on the DMP page for this site

    This way I'm Karma whoring for doing some real work for this wonderful site she made, and oh yeah. /. will get something after it uses her bandwidth up (unless someone had graciously upgraded her account, in which case mod me to oblivion - I've got karma to burn.)

    Just a few comments about the link to the mirror of the spaceship site.
    • No Death Star? No Imperial Battle Cruiser? No Borg Cube? Those are kind of obvious ships and it is surprising that they were left out.
    • There are several places where it says "click here" (e.g., the smaller Star Trek ships and Star Wars ships) but those links are not up.
