If you guys like geek rap, you should check out the artist named ytcracker. His album named "Nerd Entertainment System" is pure awesome. I'm not a huge fan of some of the later stuff, but it's very fun listening to a guy rapping about assembly opcodes, IRC, etc :)

Some like Weird Al are already popular and others like MC Lars are getting there. Their songs have mainstream appeal and do talk about other things than technology. They also don't get too overly technical with their songs that are more tech driven. However, others like ytcracker who raps in java during one song are simply too geeky to be mainstream

I figure kazza knows they are on the out, but still have the 100 mil. to join the otherside of the force for a while.
Personally.. i have been listening to "underground" music sense i was like 13. So i only get mad that the RIAA is ruining music culture for mainstream america.
Electronic music will never have these issues... Wait do they make DRM for records now??

On an even lighter note, some of this kids' buddies - including AOL hacker YTcracker - have made up a pretty entertaining rap song about him.

I actually got a good kick out of ytcracker's free album. It is set to 8-bit-esque melody (which is actually catchy, at times, if you can get past the geekiness of it) and the lyrics are funny. here's a sample:

I TOTALLY take this all tongue-in-cheek, but I still thought it was pretty funny because of all the in-jokes. Check it out, it's free and you might get a chuckle. ...
