    ...the entire Beatles back catalogue is already available on Compact Disc or other formats without being restricted by a failing protection technology that allows your to freely rip any contained songs to any unencumbered format of your chosing.

    So why pay extortionate sums of money to buy good music in a format that you cannot share with others after you have legally bought it?

    Purchased downloads are for plastic throwaway crap, not for proper music that you will want to cherish for decades to come.

    Second, how stupid is it to believe that someone without electricity is going to sit there with a frickin' foot pedal, hand crank (or any other half assed contraption for generatinf power that they can come up with) and surf the web?

    Now you see, some places in the Third World it might be difficult to dance to this because the kerosene record player is not a very efficient device... And a lot of times they run out of, they run out of spunk right in the middle of the chorus...

    There are countries that Police the namespace used for their newborns. They don't allow eccentric parents to give their kids eccentric names. But giving your kid a weird name doesn't guarantee they will grow up to be weird.

    Frank Zappa gave his kids Moon Unit and Dweezil weird names. Did they grow up to be weird failures because of their names?

    I don't know. But I bet there are moments when they wonder, "what was dad thinking?"

    I read the same little blurb, and I almost spit out my coffee. I remember the day Frank went to washington and (intellectualy) ripped off Tippers head and shit down her neck. and to see that his wife is now giving so much to a elect a stuffed shirt like Algore is just too funny.
