It'll offer video and TV on demand, and act as an internet gateway for internet appliances. Profiling is mentioned. The story makes an interesting point about how the XBox's true purpose is to pave the way for Microsoft as a home entertainment brand."

    Did you even read the article, or is that just too much to ask? They are not advertising this thing yet, for precisely that reason. They want to concentrate on X-Box for now, then in 12-18 months they'll role out the homestation.
