I just heard some sad news on talk radio - Horror/Sci Fi writer Stephen King was found dead in his Maine home this morning. There weren't any more details. I'm sure everyone in the Slashdot community will miss him - even if you didn't enjoy his work, there's no denying his contributions to popular culture. Truly an American icon.

associates in the days preceding the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, two senior US law enforcement sources told CNN Friday.

The sources stressed there was no evidence of "a specific threat" but, in the words of one, the intelligence information "adds to the sense of unease" among law enforcement and other government officials.

"There are people we are watching who are talking the same language -- things like 'you will be happy soon' -- and other things reminiscent of pre-9-11 activities," one of the sources said. "People talking the same language, circles of calls, things that are just very similar."

Your post looks very convincing for those who haven't read the "article". Except mentioning "the strongest man in Great Britain". Just "a man with a sledge hammer" would be fine.

By the way, it's a really good and appropriate troll for this troll story. I don't know how to moderate good trolls. Maybe "underrated"?
