Well i certainly hope this is true, considering slashdot is the only part of VA Linux that turns a profit they would have to be really thick headed to leave it in it's current shoddy state. Get some Solaris with Oracle in here for heaven sake. And hire some real web developers please! Sure taco and hemos are good at posting articles about GPS and LEGOs but they have no business whatsoever doing web development. I think the continual fuck ups in the slashcode and errors with the databse make this obvious. This may be to good to be true, but if VA Linux has any sense they will make this a reality and put someone in charge of this site who can actually do web development properly, instead of sitting around bitching about the DMCA while watching anime DVDs all day...
