Return to Castle Wolfenstein Ships

Screaming Lunatic writes "Woohoo, Return to Castle Wolfenstein has finally shipped. Check this story out at Yahoo. You should be able to buy it at the regular gaming shops. I highly recommend buying it rather than hacking it, as noted in Graeme Devines .plan file." CD: I am seriously flashing back to the Apple II game with a similar name, hope this doesn't suck like daikatana.

Remember folks ... this a computer game. And games get no QA.

So it isn't worth rushing out to buy and install it. Before you're half way through, the first patch will be released and your savegames will be rendered useless.

    Wait for the inevitable 1.1

If you'll play Civ3 with it's Kenny G style music, you'll do fine with Wolfenstein 3D and ID software's GREAT music history. (NIN? Rob Zombie? I LOVE ID)

Oh buzz off. Give it a year and few will even remember about the act but historians. Get on with life already. There have been acts committed in the past, and there will be in the future. Some by people outside the US, some by those inside the US. Heck, the US might 'accidentally' bomb another Chinese embassy -- but I'm sure you got over that one in a big hurry.

How dare you, how dare you (words escape me) you monster.

I have a lot of jewish friends, even family. I for one do not see anything wrong with demonizing a demon. It is what it is.

Hitler killed 300,000,000 people in interment camps. 1 person makes it a murder, 6 people a slaying, 20 people a serial killer.. Let me tell you, once you've killed anyone, your soul is shit, you're going to burn in hell, you are a demon.

What? do you think we should have a game that simulates b-17 food drops over afghanistan? To show our children that we should be KIND and be GENTLE because there are collateral causualties? I watched 7000+ people lose their lives in front of me on TV and let me tell you, IT HURT. If this was 1942 it would be bugs bunny cartoon instead of a video game, portraying hitler as a doofus.

So I suppose because south park had a episode WITH BIN LADEN and south park is a CARTOON they are DEHUMANIZING bin ladin. Well great, even if we have to hunt him down for the next 30 years MY KIDS are gonna grow up thinking bin ladens life is as insignifigant as an insect. And I like that, I want my kids to have no apprehension if they were ever put in a position to kill him. I would praise my child for pulling the trigger on the gun that kills him, I really would.

In closing, I would like to say one more thing, encourage your children to play FPS games, because in the future wars will be fought remote, FPS is a good simulator of that.

I never (purposefully) team kill. You misunderstood me, perhaps because I didn't capitalize "Allies": I, the Axis sniper, run behind our enemies, the "Allies", to snipe them from an unexpected position. I do not snipe my fellow Axis "allies".

No, I understood your intent. The point I was making is that you're the kind of bastard player that does stuff like camp respawns (what else would you call it when you get behind the other team's spawn points and cap them as they run up the beach?). That class of asshole players also tends towards teamkilling. Perhaps you're not a team killer, but I've seen enough assholes in too many games that do the things you spoke of doing and also are anti-social (well, more anti-social than the typical gamer, as we all tend to be anti-social to some extent :) assholes.
