Show me at least one tip in that article. I wonder - what the hell? Have editor who passed this submission looked at that article at all?

Shattering the myth of the faultless programmer
What's this ? I never heard of this kind of myth before. Faultless programmers... You must be kidding me !
From the article:
The success or failure of any software programming group depends largely on its ability to work together as a team
That's not how i see it. The success or failure of programming projects (and therefore the groups involved) depends mostly on doing the right thing !
Most problems I have encountered in my programming career have hardly ever been technical.
It is a good thing to improve your technical skills, I admit. But if you are doing the wrong thing it doesn't really matter how good you are at it !

Library reuse

Perl can be much improved with greater library reuse. For example, I've been experimenting with this excellent library called "Python" that has made my programming much more productive. Stop reinventing the wheel!

The article was lame. And I told them so too. Why the hell does crap like this get posted?
We should be having healthy debates about OOP or not to OOP etc
Oh my god... Kevin Spacey was Kaiser Sauzey!
The Best Perl tip i've ever seen is to learn Python.
:)
Even Larry Wall, the creator of Perl himself said that if he wasn't using Perl, he'd be using Python

Better Progamming In Perl, maybe he meant Programming.
Spilled.net
It's a book advert, and way below interesting enough for slashdot.
V.poor.
I've wanted to start progamming for a while now. Powergaming isn't so popular any more.
