AT&T Broadband To Merge With Comcast Cable

quualudes was one of the many people to submit the AT&T Broadband/Comcast merger. CNNfn has more of the story as well. 72$ billion is the cost. Wow. I wonder how this affects @Home. One alert reader also submitted the news that Comcast will evidently by launching a video gaming channel - more information will be coming in February 2002.

    I work for a company that does business with ATT and once in a while in meetings with management they always say how screwed up they are. Totally different systems for everything. The poor customer service people have to look at numerous systems just to find out what the customer's problem is.

      To people who know how to read properly, "brought" MEANS SOMETHING DIFFERENT than "bought".

      Add a miscellaneous "t" by accident to the word "can", and all of a sudden, you get "cant". It changes the meaning. (Or makes the reader wonder whether the "t" is the error, or if the apostrophe is missing.)

      LETTERS CAN CHANGE WORDS INTO OTHER WORDS! THAT CAN CHANGE THE MEANING OF WHAT IS BEING WRITTEN. Learn to read.

      And anyone who reads photographically doesn't like to have to stop and figure out why the patterns don't match up.

      It is annoying to not be able to use one's god(dess)-given talents due to the stupidity of others.
