New Years Marathons

So for those of us who don't go "Out" for holidays and prefer sitting on our asses, the extended TV theme Marathon is something of a tradition. Besides obvious choices like watching all the Star Wars movies, what sorts of marathon tv endurance tests are people planning? Buffy, Angel, Twin Peaks, Iron Chef? What are you gonna do?

    Actually, if you look at the rolemaster rules for middle earth, you may find that defeating Aragorn and more importantly Gandalf in either fashion may present a larger problem then at first glance. Especially if they're run properly. :) Though I would imagine the idea of this is to win in the end and as such they'll probably make a fatal mistake, either intentionally from the DM or unintentially due to alcohol consumption...

    Can you tell I've played out similar scenarios before with my gaming group? Though when we did it, we were not going to remove the ring, we were going to fight in the war against Mordor. Nothing like mass combat on an epic scale. We survived, barely.. Orcs hit a lot harder in middle earth then they do in the realms. :)
