nihilist_1137 writes: "Cnet has a collection of interviews with some of the 'biggest movers and shakers' of 2001. It focuses on their plans, ambitions and fears. Included is Sir Arthur C. Clark, Bill Gates, Will Wright, and Bill Joy, to name a few." It''s a fairly eclectic bunch of interviews collected from the last year, not ones done specifically for 2001 nostalgia.

    yes that is what /. sounds like more and more every day. i was hoping that in the new year /. would try to make itself into a little more than a mutual masturbation soceity for all the smart kids pissing in the wind, but it looks like 2002 will be as annoying as 2001. its a FUCKING OPERATING SYSTEM folks. would you give so much as a shit about your dishwasher? maybe your dishwassher firmware isn't GPL'd. maybe you had better start up opendishwashers.org so all of the other zit pinchers who are aghast at the fact that dishwasher firmware is closed can get together and open source the kitchen once and for all.
