Future of Music Summit
DotcomScoop writes: "We were provided with a copy of the letter sent by Congressman Rick Boucher to RIAA head Hilary Rosen and IFPI head Jay Berman questioning the legality of copy-protecting CDs. 'I am particularly concerned that some of these technologies may prevent or inhibit consumer home recording using recorders and media covered by the Audio Home Recording Act of 1992 (AHRA),' Boucher writes. We've summarized the letter in a story and CNET also has coverage. Monday is the kick-off of the two-day Future Of Music Policy Summit, which includes keynotes or panels from Boucher, Rosen, Napster CEO Konrad Hilbers, Nirvana's Krist Novoselic, Fugazi's Ian MacKaye and the National Writer Union's Jonathan Tasini, among others." We already posted a story about the Boucher letter, but it can't hurt to mention it again.
Our car-manufacturing company has developed a new revolutionary business model for making cars.
We give away the cars for free and then we sell services for those cars! If you want to we can clean your car, wax it or you can use some of our other services.
We get cash from a couple of VC's, the rest of them simple don't "get it". If we need more we just call "the suits".

I just bought a new CD, and it doesn't play on my XP machine. Aren't Microsoft shite.
The last scintilla of doubt just rode out of town
I think Mrs. Boucher would have something to say about that :-)
Could you try making some sense? That post, and even your sig, are unintelligible.

The title of your post gave me a weird vision of Steve Ballmer of MS running around like a monkey :-)
You said it yourself, "get on with your life"..
Now, THAT to me means getting on with protecting MY Civil right to sit in my fricken "jammies" playing video games SINCE I, and many others like me, spend my workweek protecting feel-good anonymous flamers like yourselves from those who would steal your freedom AND civil rights. None of us will FORGET the incident on 9/11, nor will will FORGIVE those who did it, but that in NO WAY will stop us from paying attention to the RIAA and others who wish to remove freedoms idiots like you have probably never fought to protect.
So, listen, I don't drive over to the Ronald McDonald house and piss in YOUR hot cocoa and break YOUR lego sets, so do us all a favor and IGNORE ours.
Thank you.
