Basically, nanoscale robots with electrical and mechanical components that can propel themselves, send signals, and do basic computations. "

    I hope they've got that "don't hurt any humans" thing down, because when they get smart enough to find out where all the pollution is coming from, they're going to come hunt us down.

    Each and every one of us.

    And bore through our miserable human bodies.
