real admins prefer linux to any unix. ive adminned a bunch of unixes but i never knew what i missed until i used linux. redhat sucks, use debian. apt-get cant be beat by anything ..not IRIX's inst, not pkgadd/pkginstall from Sun or anything else. even smit from AIX and HP/UX's sam cant compare to linuxconf.
Any slashdot editor/moderator/janitor would change anything for Linux. Of course, Irix is a lot worse than Linux (Windows is bad too).
It's only 500MHz! And I thought Macintoshes were slow at their measly 1GHz.
