Well kiddie, you spend a good deal of your time developing a popular site to the point that some big company wants to come along and buy it out, and at the same time keep you onboard for development, and then when April 1st rolls around, you can do whatever the hell you want with it. I don't quite understand why everyone is so upset with all of the fake story postings. Is slashdot the only website in the world that is supposed to be "News for Nerds"? Get over yourselves and look elsewhere if you actually care about any real news today. I'm sure some people enjoy at least one or two of the stories posted. Stop bitching already.
