Interview with Adrian Silasi of SiSoftware

dreamchaser writes: "Many Slashdot readers are no doubt familiar with SiSoftware's Sandra benchmarking/system analysis tool. Here is a brief interview with the head honcho at SiSoftware, C. Adrian Silasi. Note that there will be a Linux version of Sandra coming out, which I think is very good news for the Linux benchmarking situation. Shameless plug of course, as I conducted the interview. I think it is a good fit for Slashdot, though."

Looks like it already works with linux... Seems to say so here anyway.

It's not linked to anything, so it must mean 'in process'. Adrian states within the interview that it is being ported to Linux, so if anyone should know what is up - it would be him :) I like SANDRA, it gives you great info about the system as a whole. Benchmarks are benchmarks...you know how that goes. But, I am very much looking forward to the Linux version, when completed. Nice little interview.

Extremely good point... Kind of an oversight on my part.

I know there's bonnie, and ap, and a few others (don't forget BOGOmips ;-)), but an "all-round" benchmarking tool like Sandra is something that's missing ... Glad they'll port Sandra!
