Bootleg Star Wars AotC Debuts on Internet
Arctic Fox writes "Matt Drudge is reporting that bootleg copies of the new Star Wars movie have been appearing on the internet one week before the movie's big screeen debut. The article says that they have used a tripod mounted camera at a pre-screening to tape it. Not known is if anyone is seen walking in front of the camera."
I gotta admit, I find this amusing, although I'd never bother downloading it:
I've had 12:01 tickets ready to go and there is no way I'm gonna spoil it watching
a low quality divx.

Hey, you could have had one too if you had a job that only required 10 minutes of work a day and could spend the rest of the time hanging outside movie theaters.
Now, hold on. It's a bit early to be sucking everyone off. You must be mistaken if you think that Malda gives two flying fucks about you. You're not special. You're a fucking slashminion. What the fuck do you think he'd do to you? Get between a man and his food, and he'll fuck you up.
Give credit where credit is due. It ain't due here, bootlicker.
Shouldn't that read:
[...] then he gets killed by Yoda.
:)
who ever the retard with moderator status is who just moded this offtopic should watch out, I meta moderate all off topics as unfair...say good-bye to your moderator status you dolt.
Like, man, you are so Lucas' bitch...
no! No! please not the m2 death ray! I take it back.
you stupid kike. you think anyone gives a fuck about you or the bullshit you have to say?
What AHH?
I loss big interest in the first 10 minutes when they could no keep the prespectest right.
The "tall" people on stilts - with "short" arms
Then not on stilts - with "normal" arms
Then all corrected (computer) with wrong walk/run rythm.
The "short" poeple - with "normal" arms
Then with "short" arms (kids)
Then all corrected (computer) with wrong walk/run rythm.
I may to grow to like the movie later... but not worth the "price of the ticket"
I had same reaction to "Roger Rabbit" and the first street car (bus to made to look like tolley). You could see the bus wheels between the tolley wheels.
Sherk ahd problems with feet and hands interacting with other objects. Most computer shots can be known by the way objects "touch" on another. It just looks wrong.
I would kick his ass...he's just a geek.
I guess I wasn't clear ... that was my point.
Sometimes you get the ultimate surprise of watching "It's a Bug's Life" instead of "Jurrasic Park III", but it's all part of the experience.
That would be quite a surprise. Imagine picking up Jurassic park, and getting Jurrasic park. The fucking horror. A movie of poor grammar and misspellings.
you know what, I think that you have a grudge against me and you are the one who mods me down all the time.
and aparently, people do since they MOD ME UP TOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!!!!!
Welcome to 12 hours ago.
Free Hanssen! Truly a hero!
I dont get it, /. moderates me to a 2 - funny, then im given a 1 - troll, wtf was trolly about the comment I made?! I guess I offended a real Lucas lover :|
Nah, you didn't make it very well really.
You do realize that no one cares, right? Right?
How can I get a copy of the Episode II Bootleg?
I'm a newspaper reporter from St. Paul, MN who is doing a story on the growth of movie downloading. I'd like to talk to you about your arguments against downloading the bootlegs. How does this hurt the efforts of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and groups like it? I can be reached at: 651-228-5475. We are on CDT. My e-mail is listed below but I would prefer a phone interview if that works for you. (I just find it quicker than e-mailing back and forth.) Full disclosure: I am contacting a variety of people on Slashdot about this issue, hoping to get a range of views. So my name will probably pop up elsewhere in this discussion.
