Microsoft vs. Northwest Schools Part II

sharkey writes "Simple End User Linux (SEUL) has an article about their visit to the ACPE 2002 conference. Microsoft's visit to the conference is outlined, as well as the school districts' attitude towards GPL software and migration issues. An interesting follow-up to an earlier Slashdot article."

let me get this straight..you are a high school teacher, and you refer to Microsoft as M$, like a 16 year old h4x0r?

C'mon now, the English teacher next door to you would probably fail you if you used such juvenile spelling in an essay.

Teachers my age are making quite a bit more money than the average American, and more than I've ever made in IT. That is a fact.

But for the most part, they are very poorly educated. Much of their professional education was on how to change the beliefs and values of the children, not on the subjects they are expected by the taxpayers to teach.
